Hegel h200 low level listening
Hi everyone. It's going to be official tomorrow afternoon. I pick up my spankin' new Chuck Hegel H200. I'm looking forward to first impressions as well as the break in period. Once I connect Chuck, I'm turning it on and letting it get to temp for ...
Wow, everything posted for sale is ''light use''??
I'm lucky if my rig gets used once a week spring though the end of summer. Then it's 10 hours a week tops in the winter.
Creedence Clearwater Revival - John Foggarty
"A very weak release."I've steered away from this thread because I'm not a huge CCR fan so there's no point in me commenting. You and I think differently.
Girlfriends and wifes, how do YOU cope?
Yes Dorkwad, it's pretty sweet. Occasionally she might not be in the mood for music so I have a Schiit Lyr headphone amp that serves me well although it rarely gets used. It really helps that we enjoy the same music. It wasn't always that way thou...
MC501 or MC601 or something else for B&W 802N?
You should look into Hegel as well. I used to be a B&W owner, now Harbeth. Looked at integrateds for about two years and nothing came close to the Hegel H200 in my system. I found the Luxman 505u and the top of the line Marantz to be lacking. ...

Norah Jones
The worst? That's a rather broad statement with all the garbage out there being played on the radio. I happen to like her but I also like a ton of music. I appreciate and respect your honest opinion however. What don't you name some of your favori...
Songs That Sound the Same
What an interesting post. Your George Harrison/Chiffons analogy is a good one. The 1975 power ballad 'All By Myself' by Eric Carmen and Sergei Rachmaninoff's piano concerto no. 2 in c minor , opus 18. I didn't find this out until the mid 80's whil...
Tube vs. SS Dilemma
Both technologies have their merits. I'd say that solid state is advancing rapidly and some of these advancements are balancing out both. System synergy has it roll in both directions. A tube fan might like solid state better with my speakers and ...
Revel Salon 3?
Some people think Revel tweeters are smooth as silk and others think they absolutely suck. On the F series, it's as though they forgot to connect them. It's been a long time since I've heard an S. I recall liking them. I listened to the F206 and i...
Affordable integrated amps with HT bypass?
What Dtc said about the Rotel and B&W combo was my direct experience. I would lose the Rotel. I would definitely check out the Nait. I found the Marantz gear that I listened to lost a little of the top end. As you age that's not good. It might...
KEF LS 50 in NE Ohio?
Excellent near field monitor. I listened to a friends pair with the Parasound A21 (can't recall source and pre) and enjoyed it very much. Just find a used pair on here and keep what you have. That's the best of both worlds.
How to protect turntable from children?
I like that idea that Rhljazz has. When I was that age, I had one of those little briefcase tables that I spun my Alvin and the Chipmunks record on. Amazon has a bunch of them with built in speakers for under $100 and as low as $47.
Norah Jones
Toddnkaya, yes I've heard Little Broken Hearts and I think it's great. I heard her play the tunes Say Goodbye and Happy Pills on this live show on PBS and thought it was fantastic.I believe that all the songs on the album Not Too Late were written...
