| Solid State preamp Brands Another vote for SPL. I own the entry level Volume2, and it is very good, if only XLR in and out. I think the Elector or Director would be fabulous. I would like to try the upper tier Ayre preamps, as my Codex is something special! | |

| Anyone can help... Boulder 866 for Tidal... Looks like the 866 has an internet connection,so you should be able to get it connected to your network. After that, Tidal should show your 866 as a device it can connect to. Or, Roon or Mconnect should allow connection. Try it and let us know. | |
| Best streamer, don't want Roon, don't want a screen, A DAC is OK but not necessary Don’t know about the Mini, but the Femto Aries is great. I’d say better than the Lumin U1 Mini, and I have both (in terms of sound quality). | |
