| Outboard surround decoder? You might have to get one that also includes a preamp also. I bought a B&K Reference 20 and it looks and sounds well. You might have to go to the 30 to get DPII. | |

| ipod vs CD vs satellite Just my 2 cents-- My ipod classic, when connected to the back of my jvc truck stereo, sounds considerably better than the cd player. It is connected through the headphone out to analog inputs of the cd player. IMHO | |
| Can you ever have too powerful amp for speakers? Alot of times speakers get blown when the amp starts clipping because of not enough power. | |
| Magnepan for a small room I have a set of MG-1's in a 10x10x8 room. I can't place them more than 2 feet from the wall and the sound is too high on bass and too low on highs. I use a Soundcraftsman equalizer to improve the sound but obviously that is a big bandaid. I'm hopi... | |
