Are all red book cd transports created equal? If the old pioneer is working properly and you go through the same dac it should work fine. I think the weak link of that player was the slow write speed. | |

Rotel and Bi-Amping You can bi-amp those 805's but the Rotel puts out 5 x 200 watts per channel, 200 watts is more than enough for those speakers. If you want to a simple Google search will show you diagrams of both horizontal and vertical bi-amping. | |

If the Teac doesn't have an IP address handed out by DHCP it's not going to respond to ARP. For some reason it's not getting an IP address try putti... | |
TEAC NT-505 impossible connecting to WiFi router o such LAN: help me please? Might check if your router is set to hand out IP addresses by DHCP. Looks like the Teac is trying to get an address and is timing out. Other than that you could try Teac support it could be a bad chip. | |
