The Hub: No moving parts? No problem!
I heard a Dukane Ionovac speaker once - the best tweeter I have ever heard bar none. So pure and free of distortion. However the poor paper cone woofer underneath just couldn't keep up which made for an odd disconnect.
Speakers for Rock Music
UREI 813 speakers (A B or C lettered). Big dynamics, time aligned and used on plenty of mixing consoles. Of course they need to be played LOUD to sound best. Not everyone's cup of tea, with the right electronics they are the most dynamic speakers ...
One of the best power amp with 6CA7 tubes
with a few mods and upgrades, the Eico HF-60 monoblocks are a great amplifier. Fantastic Output transformers. Of course with any vintage piece, I strongly recommend a good tech unless you are handy with a soldering iron.
