| What should I upgrade? Sorry I forgot to mention I have a pitched roof. on one sid it starts at 8ft and goes to 12ft. there are also 7 exposed wood beams that run along the ceiling. Where would I place bass traps and/or acoustic panels? | |

| Own Magnepans? Got Cats? I bought the plastic mats you put over carpet. On the underside they have plastic spikes that stick into carpet. Turn them over, cut out area for speaker legs to go through. cat's won't walk on the spike area. 1.6's protected! | |

| do you use a pre-amp with your DAC? I spoke with Matt @ Bel Canto and he said even thought they sell a nice preamp ($2000) he stated it is best to use the built in preamp on the Dac3. I also have the S300 with Dac3 and Magnepan 1.6qr |
