Cones/Bearings for CD player Darrell: You get used to it after a while and just concern yourself, immediately, with your household members, including pets (though I am sure that "Tim the TireGuy" is concerned about another member:-) and then the gear. This is quickly followed...
Granite Audio Power cord 555 702: I live in the real world as opposed to the windmills of your mind. Technically, I live in West Hollywood, CA and you are welcome to drop by for a shootout, if you feel that you are man enough. I personally cannot travel due to medical reasons...
Favorite Audio Ad Kublakhan: Did you say/write something (my heterosexual male persona must have blocked it out:-)? But I am sensing these really strange images.
Granite Audio Power cord 555 Yes, and you will get burned if you do it against any of the ones that I own.
Party At Albertporter s Albert: If you hang awhile on the party, I will be eligible for the Govm't Cheese in three months and can supply all the cholesterol. Do I have to wear my teeth?
One Month Music Discoveries Here's four more that were picked up at a thrift when coming back from the PO yesterday ($6 total). 1. Twentieth-Century Blues "The Songs of Noel Coward" done by a host of artists (Paul McCartney singing "A Room with View" and on and on), great CD...

tube replacement for bat vk60 Try cleaning the tube pins with pure electricians alcohal and/or fine cloth sandpaper (the name of it slips my mind now) before changing tubes. I have eliminated "rustling" in signal tubes by cleaning them well, plus thay sound a lot better.
Space-Tech Laboratory preamps Thanks. I went to the website and poked around a little at AA as well. I also like the description of the manufacturers shop which is a dying breed (type of shop).
Favorite Audio Ad I used to enjoy the tape ad (think that it was TDK) with the man seated in a chair with his hair being swept back from the sound. I beleive that this was an award winning ad and was done as print as well as television..
How can power cords make a difference? Trelja: I have the HT IEC adapter on it's way for my Pioneer CD burner. I will try upgrading the power cord for the analog to digital copies that I will be making. Upgraded PC's have worked on everything so far with the exception of my tube amp (w...
Cones/Bearings for CD player I have the Neuance shelving, but have not yet installed it. There are user reviews of the product at this site in the "shelf" and "isolation" threads. I am hoping to completely eliminate the use of cones and footers so that my equipment can rest o...
Space-Tech Laboratory preamps Kublakhan: No info on you preamp, but the same praise has been given to the little Bottlehead preamp, approx. ($150-$280) in kit form depending on upgrades. Does your preamp have one or two volume pots? One pot would be a selling point for me as t... |
