why do my $40 logitech speakers sound better than my $120 edifer speakers? mesch:Yes, I didn't watch much TV until the late 1990's (1999 to be exact) and missed gobs of stuff.Loved Bryan Cranston in the Malcom sitcom, though later on only watched a few episodes of "Breaking Bad", as I found it too depressing (though real...

Warm up time for record playing RV:One side of an LP in regard to a previously static TT, just as you...Been this way (for me) since the mid 70's.Don't gather why anyone with real experience would refute such.DeKay
What are your thoughts on the "Edsels" of the audio history? mahlher:The first Quad LP's I listened to were by Jeff Beck and Santana.I was in Hawaii @ the time and they had LP's from the Japanese market (in stores) which were yet to be available on the mainland. One that I recall was an LP by "The Climax Blu...

Looking for a good compact cd/stereo receiver for my wife... Research Denon mini systems. Current models seem to be on backorder in the USA and they run around $500, or so, with speakers.Denon as well as the Yamaha Piano Black mini's were the "go to" in the 90's and Denon has continued on with the line.DeKay |
