| Subs for Martin Loagn CLSIIs I second Rhyno's suggestion. I've got a pair of Entec LF-30's ( same as Lf-20's except with a 3rd driver in each enclosure.) They are NOT Home theatre Subwoofers - they are audio subs - there IS a big difference to the discerning audionut. | |
| What are you powering your Martin Logans with???? I'm bi-amping my monolith II's with a Counterpoint SA-220 driving the panels and a Classe 15 driving the bottoms. Not very esoteric, but nonetheless, a pleasing combination. The active Crossover version is, in my opinion a no-brainer. | |
| Audio Research sp 11 compared to the sp 10 The Sp - 10 (either 1st run or Mk II version) is a better preamp than the SP 11, which is also a very capable unit. imho the Sp 10, is followed by the Sp 15 and then perhaps the Sp11. All are wonderful performers. | |

| OK all you Infinity RS 1A/1B Beta speaker owners.. I beg to differ - but I used to own the Beta's and I ran the mid/tweeter panels direcly from pre to power, bypassing the redundant Crossover. The Beta crossover did not have a high pass filter feeding the mid/tweeter amp - it only had lower and up... |
