Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? I cleared the idea with HSU before I bought them. I built a 48" stand which includes my 26" monitor. The HB1s are 30" apart and 36" from the back wall. Still working on it but as it stands, they sound great.
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? Um, the HSU HB1 MK2 are fantastic speakers. Detail level, speed of dynamics, everything is just way past any other $300 pair of bookshelves. I have had Ninja modded X-LS encores, Totem mites, Rainmakers, Usher 520s, among other bookshelves. These ...
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? I understand your points. They are valid. My thought is that they would be fine. I just do not believe the OS3 is enough speaker for me. I ordered a pair of HSU HB1 Mk2s.
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? I think that the HSU HB1 MK2 needs to be mentioned too. Looks like an excellent bookshelf for the price.
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? Plus, Mirage is at BB now!!! Kiss of death that. I appreciate and understand your point Johnnyb53. I just think it is a bad idea unless I can audition them. My BB does not carry them. Perhaps the Tannoy are worth a listen b/c I do have a local dea...
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? I can place the speakers as much as 7 ft apart and 2-3 ft from each wall.I will still be about 4-6 ft back though.I would prefer to place the speakers on my desktop stand which is 42" high and 36" apart and 2 ft distant. However, the X-OMNI can pl...
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? I think the X-Omni is probably the best speaker for the $$ right now. Even if it is a floorstander, I want something that can do tricks with HT and gaming sound. I have two channel stereo covered downstairs already. These are for a 80% gaming rig.
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? lol the 15 link goes to 5 so yes the 5 is what I was referring to. Hmm. The OS-3 is decently priced at several places. They will do. I can't think of another type of speaker that could image well at that close proximity.
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? The Omd-15 looks like a killer little speaker. A bit too much $$ though. Would the OS-3 be that much of a step down?
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? Sorry. I mean Reveal 6 I suppose?
Large soundstage at 2 ft distance? Tannoy Dc4? I have a sub.
TADs SS Hibachi Amps lol Paul at Tad just has a sense of humor is all. I have his tad 60 amp and his 2.1 setup to boot. Good, tank built and muuuusical as all get out.
Anybody heard the TAD 805SD speakers? The 805SD are as good as advertised. I bought mine used just because they looked great and the seller said they were very musical. No doubt the midrange is amazing. The bass is more than adequate and solidly tuneful with great responsiveness. The ...
Sound Quest SQ-84 Int Amp??? Yes I can attest again that anyone looking to also drive any headphone to it's full potential will be delighted with the Sq-84. It can power any dynamic headphone out of its 1/4 front jack OR via the speaker outs. Headphones like the AKG K1000 and...
Sound Quest SQ-84 Int Amp??? I just got one and it is an excellent speaker amp and might be a better headphone amp to boot. It drives my Paradigm Monitor 9s (94db) easily. The sound is very clean and neutral with plenty of punch. Quest for Sounds service is excellent and quic... |
