Opinions: PC's with strong lows roll off the highs
Well said Tvad. A most vivid reminder of that for me is my brothers old sansui 8/Bozak 313 combo which sounded fantastic in his basement with average wires and PC's. The room and the synergy can make up for all the expensive add ons money can buy!!

Funny, I just read your "foaming at the mouth", or was it drooling, over the DCCA Master PC....it appears we all have our favorites and our biases. MIT rules..Hee Hee Hee:)
Opinions: PC's with strong lows roll off the highs
No, not a dealer, but I have spent a fortune over the years trying "The next best thing!", over and over again. My love of music compels me to try and urge anyone not satisfied with their cabling or system sound to at least demo some of the Transp...
Power conditioner or not?
I use to agree with Pops and all the naysayers...heck, I was one of the biggest (I was even quoted in stereophile a few years back as being in opposition to any and all power line conditioning). What I am talking about is the new MIT Z stabilizer ...

Momental capasity? Maybe instantaneous current capacity is what you are referencing. Heavy gauge wire is superior indeed with proper design and shielding plus I believe in a well designed network ala Transparent or MIT!

Look, let's get serious now. First off, your equipment will say alot about what kind of cord/results you can expect to achieve. Putting Mapleshade brass footers and weights on my equipment was a revelation and should be done before you try any mor...

FYI, I thought my system was slightly rolled off with my Transparent PC's but after using Mapleshade Heavyhats and heavyfeat along with my MIT Z 3 HG power conditioner...well, hello definition!!
Anybody heard Krell SACD mkIII?
I second the opinion that the old remote is better..the new one is quirky and unreliable. FYI, get some mapleshade heavyfeet and heavyhat weights for the SACD Standard and use them into wood (butcher block or maple)...your jaw will drop at how vas...
Anybody heard Krell SACD mkIII?
Mine will not play a new DECCA release of the Beethoven Sonatas Disc 1..Disc 2 is fine! Sometimes it also will play Disc 1, maybe 1 in 5 times. When it identifies the disc it will play it flawlessly on repeat..go figure. FYI, when I first got the ...
Avalon Eidolon and Krell, good match or not?
Krell CX amps are garbage in garbage out...don't blame the messenger!
Krell kav-400xi with show case dvd or dvd standad?
I own the SACD standard and have had the DVD Standard home as well....the CD section's are very close, both better than the showcase by far!!
Wilson WP 8 or Sonus Amati Anniversary?
The 8's will rock your world...the SF's will seduce you!! Go ahead and take your time on the cable choice per audiofeil...he is so open minded it kills me sometimes. In the end however, I'll bet you go Transparent or MIT:)
Where are you today?
It depends on ones mood and perspective really. One should have two systems. Synergy can make up for alot of what one may attribute to any particular technology, so feel the music...see the music...be the music! When you become one with your syste...
Cable suggestions requested
Don't be misled by people telling you they have the next best thing for less...Transparent and MIT are the only cables for hard core "MUSIC" lovers! I have owned tons of gear including alot of levinson stuff...they love Transparent cable. Keep IC'...
Wilson WP 8 or Sonus Amati Anniversary?
Th quite WP 8's are dynamic as hell and have bone crushing bass. The top end is neutral and extended so results will be greatly determined by gear and cabling. The SF's are more forgiving and not quite as alive as the WP's. You can use tubes on th...
