Amp selection for someone on a modest budget... I was on the same hunt for 7 months. After considering many different amps, I settled on Job 225 power amp and Job Pre2 pre-amp. Numerous very positive reviews. I am assuming your budget for the power and pre-amp combo is under $4000. | |

The longest you have owned any gear? My Hafler 9303 power amplifier which I bought in 1995 when I graduated from college. It was still in used until last month when I replaced it with the Job 225 power amplifier. 22 years in total with no problem. | |
