Bass leaves after amp warms up? Okay. Not following your question. Atmasphere's first post is what I conceded to and my subsequent post is the position I hold. Simply my opinion FWIW.
AMP/Speaker help please... Equal input sensitivity of the amps is the determining factor in regards to bi-amping without equalization. If it's close, use the more sensitive one for bottom end. Speaker manufacturers tend to embellish the true real world bottom end response a...
Bass leaves after amp warms up? Okay, but the operative here is that 'nothing' is perfect. Ivor Tiefenbrun, the inventor of the famed Linn Sondek TT started his quest after buying a system way back when and taking it home only to discover it had no semblance to reality at all. W...
Can I tweak L-R balance by differntial biasing? I would love to hear Atmasphere's technical and practical explanation on how bias affects an amp sonically, ie: when both channels are the same vs. not. Forgive me for taking you to task Ralph, but I gotta take the chance when I see it. How else a...

Scratched CDs There's a few machines that use abrasive to actually grind and polish the surface. I don't have one but will soon buy one since the customer reviews are pretty good. Around $150.00. You can take and have them done in audio shops/electronics stores...
DOES YOUR EQUIPMENT KEEP GOING? Eat your heart out energizer bunny!
Anti static foam? I would definitely not put this stuff in your amp. Not even against chassis walls. What ever you put it in, it will insulate. I mean it will keep and accumulate heat. That would absolutely change the sound of your amp. Probably your pre-amp also. ...
Bass leaves after amp warms up? Enter my first post:)
HK Citation 22 Bias Problem Okay, I've sent a PM to Paresh at DIY. Hopefully he will respond to this thread:)
Bass leaves after amp warms up? Quiescent current is higher when the amp is cold and decreases as it heats up whether the outputs are mosfets or bi-polar. But more so with mosfets than with bi-polar outputs. |
