Bookshelf Speaker For Outdoors https://www.intelligentaudioproducts.com/index.php/our-products/planterspeakers I heard their Flagstone model at Axpona a few years ago in a large open atrium. They have a nicely balanced sound and were designed to be outdoors.
It comes with a balance knob?!?! I'll take it! I had an ARC Reference 1 and Reference 3, both of which had balance controls. Despite symmetrical set up, the sound in my room pulls slightly to the left. The balance control worked exactly as it should and was very useful.
CLASS D MONO AMPS buy ATMASPHERE MUSIC SYSTEMS Congratulations are definitely in order. I hope to get an opportunity to listen to them in the near future. I expect that they will sound excellent.

Transmission line speakers! Many of the speakers that Dale Pitcher designed utilized transmission lines. He was responsible for the Essence, Intuitive Design, and Mosaic Acoustics line ups.
Has anyone tried a Zobel network on GMA Eos HD speakers? @cporada After my above reply, I realized that I have a copy of the EOS HD manual that I printed while I was waiting on my EOS Rx (the name chosen for the RAAL version) to be built. I flipped through the information, and it states that in fact the...
Has anyone tried a Zobel network on GMA Eos HD speakers? I had a number of conversations with Roy Johnson in the last year or so that he was alive. He was designing a version of the EOS with a RAAL ribbon that never came to be. If I remember correctly, he designed his crossovers with a zobel network bui...
Need new headphone setup. I have started a headphone rig and am curious about applying eq to them. So far I have a Topping A30 pro amp and a pair of Sennheiser HD 58x Jubilee. They are currently connected to the analog out of an Esoteric DV-50s. The 58x could use a bit mor...
Efficient speaker: Zu, Tekton, Volti, Klipsch, Fleetwood? When I heard the Volti Rival and Razz at consecutive Axpona shows, they were set up on the long wall and not very far out from the wall. Almost certainly less than 2 feet and in both cases they sounded good to me.
High Fidelity Sound Speaker He actually broke the flange on one of the tweeters with this "method" of mounting. He talks about doing things on the cheap, but he has blown way more money in the last year doing his experiments than if he would have gone and found something act...

Efficient speaker: Zu, Tekton, Volti, Klipsch, Fleetwood? Out of your list, I would go for the Volti Razz.
SET Shootout China VS The USA Neither sounds particularly good. I think that is supposed to be piano playing at about the 8 to 9 minute mark of the first video. It is pretty tough to tell for sure though. Bright and splashy with overall poor timbre. The Sonus Faber have a some...
Need Amp recommendation $500 or under will be tough. If you are patient and willing to stretch just a little, the Parasound A23 can be found for $600 or so. An Aragon 2004 will drive them just fine and can be had at your budget if you are patient as well. The issue wit...
RIP Tommy Obrien - Cherry Amp I saw that thread and was both shocked and saddened. I purchased a pair of 3 Cherry King amps from him just a couple of months ago. He was always a pleasure to talk to and deal with. I wish his children comfort and peace. |
