Speaker Cable Suggestions Do you know other members well enough to call them foolish, delusional, ignorant and all of the other things that you repeatedly call people? Have you personally experienced what they have with their systems in their rooms? When does the shoe you ...
Speaker Cable Suggestions My stereo system is Oppo-105D/Emotiva XPA-2/B&W 803s. I could spend 1000% more and MAYBE achieve a subjective 5% improvement in overall SQ That pretty much says it all. No bias there what so ever. Congratulations on reaching the top of the...
Amps from the 1980's -- What gear holds up sonically? Reliably? I believe the Aragon 2004 and 4004 were both introduced in the late 80s. Very well built, reliable amps, and a step up from Adcom GFA 555 IMO.
Hearing is believing?........power cables....... Absolutely right Schubert. We have a handful of pointy heads that showed up here recently that believe they know it all and are out to save all of the audiophiles in the world from themselves.

WORST Experience Ever in Dealing With Woodbridge Stereo NJ My experience with both FedEx and UPS is in the 90% plus success rate. I agree with Swampwalker that the majority of those issues are with the larger, heavier items. Neither UPS nor FedEx has been better the other at avoiding damage IME.
Signal Cable -- High End Generic? I never said it was a crime to outsource wire and make your own product from it. With few exceptions, that is exactly what cable makers do. You are correct, he still lists what his wires are made from. Silver Resolution is Frank's top cable lin...
Signal Cable -- High End Generic? chrisr, I would love to see some proof that Frank does what you describe. Not saying it is not true, but it is the first I have heard of it. Which of the companies you name makes his Silver Resolution wire? If you have no proof, you shouldn’t go t...
Rythmik subwoofers? 1 is a pretty small sample size to determine reliability issues with a company. I bought an F12SE used about 3 years ago and have never had so much as a hiccup from it. It has been a reliable and excellent performer for me. Just my 2 cents worth.
Wilson Audio Haters Bo,It's always intriguing to see which of your personalities will post, Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde.Dave Yosemite Sam and Wile E. Coyote are more like it.
Regarding Joseph Audio Pulsar Loudspeakers Soundsrealaudio should be disclosing that he is a Wilson-benesch dealer. Financial interest in a product one recommends should be known up front by those reading.
Vandersteeen 2wq (or any sub) in small room My room is 12 x 15 1/2 x 8 and when I place speakers on the short wall, no matter how I position them, the midbass is lacking. It has been that way with speakers that I know produce more than adequate bass. I use a Rythmik F12 SE to augment the lo...
CAN SOMEONE HELP What is your budget? How big is your room? What is your preamp and front end equipment?
How to identify an mondial aragon 8008 amp from an 8008BB so you can put each amp on scales and whatever side goes down it's BB version. if both stay the same, than it's either or. Nope. The BB has both balanced and RCA inputs. The regular 8008 has RCA inputs only. Simple enough. No scales, no pulling... |
