Bi-amp through receiver vs pre out to 2 channel for fronts
Preamp so I can use my sub for bass management and attach the amp to the subwoofer. Otherwise I would have the full signal going to bookshelves which I do t want. The monitor audio manual must recommend three separate times to biamp so I thought h...
BEST INTERCONNECT FOR $25 EACH?
Ok I am really green and have a couple rookie questions. Somebody before mentioned getting wire to send an analog signal. Isn’t this a digital signal? Maybe they meant just don’t use cable meant for video like RG6?Also, wouldn’t you always want a ...
BEST INTERCONNECT FOR $25 EACH?
Looks like somebody did my dirty work for me. I think I’m sold at $30 per cable. I read on another forum that a guy replaced $10k cables with these. Should I go for it grannyring? Are the haters above asking me if I’m serious dude still going to h...
BEST INTERCONNECT FOR $25 EACH?
I just read a previous post on a forum with audio engineers, so I now don’t need you guys to explain what can cause differences in sound. I believe there can be differences in sound due to these cables, but to me it seems to be marginal returns fo...
BEST INTERCONNECT FOR $25 EACH?
Sorry EBM I am brand new to this and didn’t realize aside from falling apart that it would make much difference for aline signal. I can spend a little more but I have no idea what makes one cable that much better than another.

120v to 240v Adapter to power Amp in USA
Yeah I think a whole circuit is a bit much. I would probably just do a transformer but I’m not sure if it presents a fire hazard to leave it on all of the time. Im starting to think maybe I should just stick with a 120v amp and call France again t...
120v to 240v Adapter to power Amp in USA
I had already paid and everything and they made the dealer from France refund my money. All amps are made to order and they wouldn’t do it even though I said I would pay extra for the 120v option. Still waiting for the refund to go through. The di...
120v to 240v Adapter to power Amp in USA
Right on the running a new independent circuit with 12-2 for a 240. That’s what I would do. Also, Stereo5 I co reacted Atoll and they said they can be made to order with the 120v, but once they figured out I was from the USA trying to order an amp...
120v to 240v Adapter to power Amp in USA
240v just scares the crap out of me. So that’s an interesting point. I could get a double pole breaker for the panel but then I assume I will still need a plug adapter. As far as the step up or step down, wouldn’t it be a step up since I need to go...

This is exactly what I am looking for!! It looks like the Essex MMR series would be perfect and I can choose blank panels from accessories. It doesn’t say anything about In-Wall use. I know nothing about this other than I’m hiring a carpenter and ...
