Have you noticed in the music stores, DVD's are now taking more and more space from the CD's? What does that tell you about CD sales?

Wow! I can't believe someone else thinks the same way as I do!There's not much to buy at the music store if it wasn't for the re-masters.
Don't let this happen to you
and.....leave your cell phone home too!

This one reason classical music is waning. Too many rules for the average Joe. It's to bad; what wonderful music.
CHRISTMATH...
I have 16 cd's and 137 in vinyl. Vince Guaraldi Trio is one of my favorites.
What's your favorite lyric from a song?
From John Hartford's "Mark Twain" album..... "Don't leave your records in the sun, they warp and won't be good for anyone"
Acappella/Vocal Jazz/Gospel recommendations?
This is more folk-blugrass but it's GREAT. Sugar Hill's "Sacred Voices, an acappella gospel collection" I've really enjoyed this over the years and it's ALL accapella.
Would an Audiofile really download music?
I would rather do without.
Keeping it LOW
Fairfield Four... (This is the black gospel group that sang during the flood in the movie "O'Brother Without Thou"). The song is "These Bones". The bass sings so loowwww it will shake the rafters!

Matchstikman, I don't download AND... I don't WANT too! I just wondered why someone would want a recording with half the information than a CD. Then listen to it on tinny speakers. My money is spent on LP'sThere has been some good info here. Thank...

Why don't you go to Amazon and listen to their sample cuts? What do you do with the mp3 file when you're done? I'm just wondering if anyone is going to the dark side or if someday we will be forced to?
Any bluegrass fans?
Count me in! Tony Rice Church Street Blues, and Tony Rice Me and My Guitar. Both are LPs from Sugar Hill. Good recordings.
