Denon dl-103 for pro-ject debut Carbon
@haribabu Well, definitely MM or MI for your turntable, but the price range even for those type of caridges is pretty wide. Normally depends on the cantilever and stylus type. It can be aluminum cantilever (cheap) with the best diamond (expensive)...
Hear my Cartridges....🎶
Glanz invented Boron cantilever for one model only in 1982, this model is MFG-61 with PH stylus. At that time all Mitachi Moving Flux cartridges have had 3 kings of cantilevers, look at my picture: 1) Conventional Aluminum, 2) Rare Boron Rod (in t...
Denon dl-103 for pro-ject debut Carbon
For any Low Compliance cartridges such your Denon 103 you need superheavy tonearms like Fidelity-Research FR-64s (30g effective mass) or related high mass tonearm. You Carbon is a total mismatch for this cartridge. Why do you need Denon, because of...

Just checked the video, i like the 610LX sound! And the music is nice too  But you can’t pressure-fit a stylus to boron.... Actually SONY did that just like Technics with laser technology (magic trick). Their hollow Boron pipes fitted with Nude D...
Hear my Cartridges....🎶
I’ve never tried the 610LX, but the sound of my 61 was excellent, but it was long time ago when i played a records with it. The Beryllium on your 610LX looks like my Titanium Victor X-1IIe :) We can’t go wrong with Beryllium, this is what i know f...

@halcro thanks for the close-up picture of the Glanz 610LX cantilever (finally), now we can see it's completely different in comparison to the Glanz 61 (from 1984) which has a Boron Rod cantilever. The way the stylus is mounted is also different. ...

Recommendation for Cartridge for Technics SL-1200G?
Two posters recommends cartridges with Conical Styli, this is to be honest the worst stylus profile on the planet, no matter on which cartridge. Conical tip has the shortest life-span and can't extract music from the record grooves. This profile m...
broken dreams - new cartridge help please!
I am sure others can offer suggestions as well.  All of the MM’s that I have used with the EAR have been vintage MM’s and not that easy to find: AT ATML170-OCC AT-ML170 OCC is amazing MM cartridge, no doubt.  The AT-ML180 OCC or OFC is even bet...
Cartridge Impedance
@kingbarbuda  For MM cartridges, the capacitance of the input of the amplifier should more or less match the value of the MM cartridge. The higher the capacitive value of the input of the phono stage, the duller the sound will be. The lower the ca...

Recommendation for Cartridge for Technics SL-1200G?
If you're looking for ART-9 make sure you're buyin' from the official distributor (not from grey market dealer), so you can get factory retip in Japan for very reasonable price when you will need it. In general for Technics tonearm you have many c...
Cartridge Impedance
1) With higher load impedance on your phono stage you're actually unload the cartridge, you have to try this if you're looking for more open sound and better high frequency. You can try anything up to 47k Ohm for MC cartridge. Don't be afraid to t...
