A strange “snap“ or “popping” sound keeps interrupting our music
pS, I will try your home remedy this evening, and thank you.

Mainly the right channel.  And not consistent.  I’ve wondered if the weather has an impact.

I didn’t want to publicly mention the amps, but I will say they have no tubes.  I do have tubes in my DAC.
Any song recommendations for testing purposes?
Angel Eyes by Mr. Sinatra, or if you have time, his entire “Sinatra Sings for Only the Lonely Album” which you can stream in his res, both Mono and Stereo.  Sorry, couldn’t resist — and for a change of pace, “With You There To Help Me” by Jethro T...
How important is it that all cables come from the same manufacturer?
Thanks to all for your great responses.  I have found some excellent and fairly new to market cables that will probably be the majority of my system, but not 100%.  Purchased their power cords and a balanced XLR … immediate sonic improvement over ...

Subwoofer
Should you use the same speaker cable for subwoofer as main speakers?  Seems like the answer should be yes.  Or is there cable meant for subwoofers?
a remarkably basic question about Roon
Switched to Innuos Sense a few months ago when Innuos released its new App for those of using their servers.  No doubt the music sounds better than when processed through Roon.   I am not familiar with the Bryson app in the post that started this ...
Streamer/Server to replace Innuos Zenith
I have found that the music sounds better using the new Innuos App when I use it to stream Qobuz into my Innuos Statement, instead of using Roon.  There are a couple of minor bugs they need to work out, but the sound is great.  I am sticking with ...
Rank the top reference DACs you've heard
Greetings, I recently upgraded to Lampizator Pacific and would add it to your list.  It is nothing short of phenomenal.
I feel bad for GenX'ers that missed out on the 60s and 70s.
Personally, I regret missing the chariot races in the Roman Circus Maximus.
Has anyone used the new Innuos 2.0 Sense music app? Compared it to Roon?
Count me in the camp that noticed an immediate improvement in sound quality using Sense instead of Roon with my Innuos Statement.  Can it be as simple as the fact that the music now streams directly into the server instead of making a detour into ...
What’s a mistake you made by being impulsive?
Mr “Willgolf” — would you comment on your Lampizator Pacific?   Was it a big step up from your prior DAC?  I have been intrigued by the thought of adding some tubes into my system and the Pacific caught my eye.  Thank you.
Streaming over fiber vs. cable Internet
Sorry if it was an old question, but yes, that was my question.  We are cable customers in the big city and increasingly our service is interrupted as usage in our community surges.. My nephew works for a fiber-Internet company in a college town a...
Bricasti DAC owners
Agree 100% — it is hard to imagine a DAC doing more to find that elusive sweet spot between detail and sounding just right.   The enhancement was immediately noticeable and unless my ears are plying tricks, it sounds even better again after some s...
