Best selling albums of all time @billpete Hello You mentioned Mannheim Steamroller. Are they new age? Anyway, I seem to remember that the production of there music is very good. Is there any particular album that stands out in trems of music and sonics? @mahgister Hi Sorry ...
Best selling albums of all time @mahgister thanks for reminding me to play some classical. I just purchased a Debussy 4 SACD set of his orchestral music. You mentioned Mannheim Steamroller. Aren't they new age? Anyway, is their a particular album by them that you feel has great ...
Best selling albums of all time My first search was "The top selling albums of all time". There were lots of results but not in 100% agreement. So to keep it simple, I asked Aria (an AI that comes with the Opera browser) the same question. I asked Aria again but included the wor...

What's wrong with this CD? @tpreaves I did. From what I read and the photos I saw on line didn't look like what I see on my disc. It's only about the size of a pencil tip where the aluminum is missing.
I stream 24/7. Do you? @mahler123 Thanks for your answer.
I stream 24/7. Do you? I don't stream at all. I still enjoy hunting for music in record stores and on-line (discogs, ebay, amazon, bandcamp). I've probably spend too much already on playback equipment, but I am curious - how much does one have to spend on streaming equi...

CD's or Vinyl? CDs but I would cry if I had to give up my records. I've got lots of both and really can't say which sounds better but one of them is definitely easier (too bad the art work is so small and it's housed in plastic).
What artist did I heard on John Schaefer's New Sounds radio program? Hi Thanks for the responce. Yes, my description is vague but maybe somehow I'll get lucky. Do you remember any of the artists you heard on the show and really liked? I can only remember that the introduction music was by Brian Eno.
Genesis @simonmoon Thanks for the suggestions. We seem to be like minded when it comes to prog. I've heard of most of the bands you mentioned, some I like (Anglagard, Anekdoten, Deus ex Machina Thinking Plague, Zopp) and some I don't (Haken, IQ, After C...
Genesis @richmon thanks for the recommendations. Camel and Strawbs never did it for me but thumbs up for Porcupine Tree and Caravan. Have a few PT albums and lots of Caravans. 5 strars for "For girls who grow... Like "In the land of Grey and pink" a lot.
Genesis @larsman strange days, that's one completely unknown to me. Found it on YouTube. Pretty cool and very Genesis-like. Can't agree with the Gabriel substitute. Thanks for the tip. This record deserves a spin on my system. |
