Accuphase E-560 versus VAC Sigma 160i
New improved E-560, the Accuphase E-600 should be good and worth checking out.
Power cables for ARC Reference 75
David,If you like the sound of your old cords, why not just get a 15 to 20amp 'adapter'. Shunyata make good ones (15 to 20amp or vice versa). I've used them ~ fit snuggly, good contacts and reasonably cheap too.

How much are beats headphones and the sound?
I think they are brilliantly designed to fit right for its target market..Ie. The iPod gen.. Music these younger generations listen too mostly suit and benefit with the little excitement that Beats bring forth. Especially when plugged direct to iP...
Cables more hype than value?
Audiolabyrinth,Yeah that same ad., congrats on what I think is a good buy for a superb cord! Bet it will sound great on your cdp, but on amps too, I've always found good PCs to have equally profound an effect! Enjoy.. :)*Btw you bought the 1m/$100...
Cables more hype than value?
The Tara Labs Cobalt AC cord listed here last week for $1,900 w/upgraded plugs was quite a steal imo. Been eyeing that too for my brother's use, but gone now.
Esoteric K01: What are the best settings for CD?
Flashunlock,I've had lengthy trial of Crystal AD Ic as well, while I wouldn't say that one is much better over the other, in my system, the Empress DC stayed for sure. ;) Both are great, more to do with system synergy and also that 'loom' thing go...

Esoteric K01: What are the best settings for CD?
@Audiolabyrinth,mmh.. I think Flash was referring to Krell's top line, amp Evo.1 and pre Evo.2. ;)@Flashunlock,Noticed from older threads you were using all Tara Cobalt ac cords before? How/in what ways do they differ from your current Siltech Rub...

Agree with Mallen above, wherein both could be excellent or just so-so..Finding the right balance with the rest of your system is key ~ ie.Synergy. I'mcurrently using Accuphase dac/transport (replacing old 4pcs dCS stack) in an all SS based system...
