Steely Dan / Pretzel Logic 1974 ABC Playing through my Dan LPs, do I ‘need’ UHQR reissues?  So far, quiet vinyl and wonderful SQ especially on “Thrill” and this LP so likely not. Four more LPs to go, shouldn’t be a hardship listening to this ban...

Tommy James & The Shondells / The Best Of 1969 Roulette Records The SQ on this old LP is stunningly good, surprising for a compilation or a vintage issue. Killer song selections, kinda requires playing both sides. 😎  
Sound difference between High\Low Gain Setting when volume matched?
My dealer recommended using the volume pot between 10 and 2 o’clock and then using gain to add/reduce volume to the desired level. That way your adjustment swings aren’t too wide or too narrow.

  I think I read (speaking of hazy) the LP reissue will be pink, we’ll see. Today’s spam mail said it’s only out on SACD for now.
