EtherRegen question
I'm having a hard time trying to figure out what you do. The etherRegen accepts the lan and then another lan from it to your server. How could you put another ER in between the server and DAC?
ETHERNET CABLES
I'm gonna have to go with @nonoise he's been on here longer and has more post  than Fredrick.
Router for Audio Streaming
@retiredfarmer I actually have a 1400 and a 1010 router. They are the best routers I own, puts my Bosch and my Porter Cables to shame. And you can use an upgraded power cord with them.
Right match
Lose the TT for now. Try another source. A tuner or CD player, anything. (Or maybe you've already done this)You would know right away if it's bad. I've bought two brand new pieces of gear and both were doa. It's just a minor inconvenience waiting ...
Which ones should I choose? Tannoy Kensington Gr or B&W 804 D4
Like I said before there is no love for B&W on this forum. 9 out of 10 times there spoken against! Maybe one guy likes them. what does that tell me?  Mine must go
Need 25 foot interconnects
I have 26' AQ water xlr's I was using and now I need shorter ones. So make sure your gonna keep your gear like this before investing in them!
Maybe this is the winter you build something!
I've built a subwoofer swarm of late using 10'' drivers, two of them are shaped like B&W's cabinet's with curved sides and back, sloped and curved top. The other two are simply rectangular boxes all covered with walnut veneer. I also upgraded ...
Maybe this is the winter you build something!
I'll build an Audio rack using quarter sawn red oak I have drying. Furutech Power cables and interconnects (Double Helix) for sure and acoustic treatments. Diy is a lot of fun, might not happen in winter.
Install A Dedicated AC Line at home
Most sparky's will just want to argue with you and tell you why you don't need to do this and if you insist they'll say your crazy and anyone that says you need to this is just plain nuts! I would Study enough electrical handbooks and diy. It isn'...
Ideal power cord lengths?
I have  a transformer right outside my window and dedicated circuits to my music room. Mono amps share one furutech outlet and the other gear is on a Furman it ref 20 I,  it's plugged into a wattgate 381 AU evo clear outlet.  This outlet shares th...
Mea culpa for Uptone Iso Regen USB
I have to say I purchased a 432 evo standard from Dave and at the same time an etheregen and  the queen master clock and upgraded ps along with his better bnc cable from Afterdark. I've had these all connected since day one maybe 6 or 7 months ago...
Doobie Brothers' drummer John Hartman dead at 72.
I remember when the Doobies appeared on what's happening sitcom,  seen it several times probably. Makes for a good history lesson.
Reverb, what a joke
I agree,  My one purchase on reverb was my last purchase on reverb. It was a used cartridge that after about a week or so the stylus suddenly broke while placing in a groove.  It had to have been damaged but being new on the scene I didn't know wh...
Yamaha GT 2000 with 40 pound copper platter.
Given the fact the GT 2000 has a 14'' platter it's harder to house said TT because the plinth has to be larger and a longer tonearm is needed? Selection of tone arms can be limited? Also paying a machinist to build a larger platter almost 15'' wou...
Question about assembling my own DIY AC Cable
I also used the furutech contact  on the plug wires. Others have stated they don't like the rhodium plugs, only needed in a harsh saltwater environment.
