Jefff Rowland Concentra vs YBA Passion Integre Check out the rave review on the YVA Passion Integre in this issue of UHFmag.com.....they loved it.
Acoustic Zen speaker Cables ..In general Hi, Darrylhifi. I'm using a single run of AZ satori on the newforms. I'm also using AZ natrix between amp and pre,all solid state. I don't know about tubes but IMSystem the AZ has a fullness of notes, roundness or rightness that gives me synergy. ...
Power Cable or Power Conditioner? Hi Squiddy. Here is another thought. I have tried the Virtual dynamics PC's. They are to be used without power conditioners direct into the wall. Now I do both. I use the VD audition on the amp directly into the wall. I have a panamax surge protec...
My highest praise - for Audiogon I enjoy Audiogon. I haven't tried the auctions but there is a lot of very choice gear going through. I have bought off dealers here though and every transaction was excellent. I also enjoy the forum....sometimes I may stick my foot in my mouth but...
Signalcable Company They have down to earth prices but I haven't heard them. I wonder what wire they use in their ic's and speaker wire? Also, what level would their ic's and speaker wire compare to? Are they using belden? Amyone know?
Teres turntable update. The denon 304 is a sweet performer also. Still have mine. It is taking a rest while I run the 09....Sounds like a nice rig..enjoy....vinyl just has that ease. One good reason to have a turntable....a pretty young girl once said to me at the local ...
Zu Cable-vs-Virtual Dynamics? Hi, Alfred. I know you're looking for speaker cable but I would try a virtual dynamic power cord on the moon1-5. I have the sim4070SE and Rick at VD suggested the audidtion PC and it really makes this amp boogie big time....just a thought. Good luck.
Virtual Dynamcis SPEAKAER Cable Also, has anyone compared their speaker cables to acoustic zen satori? Not that I'm getting rid of the satori. I'm just curious as to what model in the VD line starts to outperform the satori? I'm using VD power cords also.
cables 101? The brands and differant sounds? Alas, cables are a necessary "evil". The best sounding cable would be no cable at all. Sean,Psychicanimal, and Unsound pretty well said it all. I wish we didn't have to use cables but there are flavours and prices for everyone....remember, that ca...
Virtual Dynamics Recall Bradz, a used rega 3 is a great painless way to get into vinyl although your Rogue 99 could easily handle the big boys. But the rega is fun and gives you a good look at high-end. If your budget will let you go for a better table, do so..best of lu...
why are some cd's so bright sounding Cd is just like vinyl used to be. Poor recordings are commonplace but when you get a good production, it can be very very good. I agree with all the posts above. Killerpiglet, you have a point. I have a Japanese pressing of EBTG[great stuff]
Acoustic Zen I use the satori speaker wire and the matrix[original] iC. They easily bettered red dawn[original] IM system[all solid state.] They seem to allow a fullness on notes on SS, but I haven't heard them on tubes. I believe they're worth the money and R...
Virtual Dynamics Recall Thanks for the info, Megasam. I agree with you on the monster2000. As I have one, I'm going to try the cryoed power 2 on it when I get back next week. I'm curious to see how it works on a power line conditioner like the monster> The panamax is ...
Virtual Dynamics Recall Gunbei. Ask Rick about the upgrad when You're ready. Remember besides the audition on my amp I have a croyed power2 Extension on the little panamax surge protector? This feeds the preamp, cd and tt. Well, yesterday I started a tweaking bing replac...
Bryston 7B ST - Sounds anaemic. Any help? Are you driving the Bryston directly from the wall? They do not require power line conditioners and if you are using one don't plug the Bryston into it...Maybe the Bryston doesn't like the speaker matching? Are the speakers a difficult load? |
