Preamp-phonostage selection for analog lover
Vinyls and tube gears go hand in hand. If you like the sound of vinyls, tube amp and tube preamp would make it sound even better. For your budget, I would go with ARC SP8 and stay away from SP9. The only things about SP8 is you need a high output ...
personal experiences with quaility preamps...
For $3000, I would go with the used ARC Classic or the D series for tube amp and used ARC SP8 for pramp. Great gear for the price. For the amp, depends what speakers you have and you can decide on all tube or hybrid amp. Sp 8 is the best overall t...

Shipping from US to Canada
Depends on what you are shipping. I have asked sellers to ship by USPS with good results, the cheapest and I have never lost anything with them. Don't use UPS, they are very expensive and they charge very high custom brokage fee.

Talking from experience. I have tried bi-Amp and tri-amp for years. And, finally I am back with one bigger amp. To me, 1 amp is better than 2, 2 is better than 3. There are so many factors dictating successful bi and tri-amping such as active X-ov...
Need help from Quad ESL 63 owners.
Thanks, Albertporter. I just bought these speakers not too long ago, the rest of my gears have been around for a long time. I love the sound of Quad 63 with classical music, but I find it too forwarding when I first got them. I have since put in a...
