Best Movie Soundtrack
Check out Wild Things. I loved the music on the Gladiator soundtrack, but the palcement of instruments IMHO was awful. Therefore, I really don't listen to it anymore.

Best sounding New Age CD
Check out Michael Stearns "The Lost World" on the Hearts of Space label. This CD has some very powerful low end on it, as well as an awesome waterfall on track #1. It was on REG's TAS list a year or so back.

Belle Klipsch VS La Scalla?
I owned a pair of Heresy's way back in the 70's. Ialso owned a pair of Chorus's for about 6 months a couple of years ago. However, I know a Klipsch dealer fairly well and have heard the La Scala's, Belle's, and K-horns. The La Scala's and K-horns ...
Freak Me Out
MC 900 Ft. Jesus, One Step Ahead of the Spider, cut #3: If I Only Had A Brain. But be careful; the bass hits on this cut will definitely test your system's limits. Plus, there is all sorts of wierd stuff on here.
Audio Note 1.1 DAC

Rock and Roll Speakers
Kelton, While many of my fellow audiophiles may scoff at what I'm about to say, here goes. I just had a pair of speakers made for me by Bill W. at Audio Ventures in Milwaukee, WI. The cabinets are heavily braced, 7 cu. ft. int. vol., with zebrawoo...
Argent Room Lens
Sorry, this is not a response to your question, a Ihave the same question as you. However, if you fellow Audiogon room treatment wizards would be so kind, I would like to know if the Room Lenses work well with regard to dissipating standing bass w...
Top manufacturers!
Don't forget Spectral. I have to admit, though, even though I own their preamp and power amp, they are a difficult bunch of people to deal with as a consumer.
