No sneering Please
@bigkidz  I don't know any reviewers.  I'm not in the industry.  I'm just a retired guy who loves music.  I didn't mean any offence when I questioned your statement.  I just don't get all the negative comments about reviews.  Call me naive, but I ...
Jazz LP Audiophile Recommendations
@russellrcncom  I only have this on CD, but Gerry Mulligan - Dragonfly   Great list of artists helping out on this recording.  While the entire disc is great, the second track is a real stand out.  One of my go to selections when I want to let my ...
No sneering Please
Very interesting review.  Not sure why @bigkidz discounts the use of reviews that come from credible sources.  I for one don't have the opportunity to run out and buy, or demo everything that comes along so the reviewer plays an important role in ...
Whats on your turntable tonight?
David Bromberg - Try Me One More Time.  An entire set of just David and his guitar.  Fantastic!

@stuartk  I think you have me mixed up with some other contributor.  Those aren't my words.  I had to google  "sibilant" to get the meaning. 😆  I have never experienced the effect in my system so can't speak to it.  Luckily the only thing that giv...
REL .LFE input
My guess is it's up to the mix on each recording.  The bass is often positioned in the center, and that mix has equal bass on both channels,  so you would be fine.  Again, it would depend on the mix.

Power conditioners
Make sure you can return the equipment for a full refund if you are not happy.  If you don't have issues with your set up now.......   IMHO
REL owners, how many clicks on your gain and crossover
REL recommends disconnecting the yellow wire only if you find there is just too much volume coming from the subs.  Leaving the one wire off lowers the signal and that is the only reason.  I would try the standard hook up first.  There's a reason t...

@mahgister  You mention the use of an ionizer in your room.  I hope you have purchased one that specifically does not produce any Ozone.  There are many warnings about the potential health hazards of breathing ozone.  Ionizers are not regulated in...
I found the best way to recycle my old tubes!
Best post of the day.  Merry Christmas.
Do you adjust your subwoofer
I have two REL S/812 subs and they are fine for 90% of the music I play. BUT, every now and then there will be a disc with so much low bass I have no choice but to get out of my chair and turn them down.  REL should really have built a remote cont...
Pending shipping questions.
May I ask who arranged the shipping?  I'm sure the amps will arrive shortly but it's a cautionary tale.  The person who arranged the shipping is ultimately responsible for anything that goes wrong.  I assume it is fully insured?  I agree with the ...
Peformance at price point for speakers manufactured in China?
@immatthewj  I didn't take your post to be negative about China.  I'm Simply agreeing that it brings the cost down and I'm fine with that.  It's the global supply chain that brings down the cost of so much.  Cheers.
