I just had my Audiogon account hacked . . .
The same thing happened to me as Krell_man described, and as Roxy54 stated, they changed my info and name under my account description. I have e-mailed Audiogon twice now in three days, and no response.
Which stands for Joseph Audio Pulsars?
Sound Anchors....No doubt!
Waterlogged Thiel CS-3.6
I would put the drivers, crossovers, etc. up for sale on E-Bay. They would reach a worldwide audience, and you should be able to find a buyer who is in need of them (maybe a cabinet maker?) Take the money you get from the parts and put it towards ...
Any Energy rc 10 fans....
I purchased a pair a few years back to hear what all the fuss was about. I sold them withing a few months, and was not very impressed with their sonics. They were attractive looking, but they lacked dynamics on the amps I tried them on, and I foun...
Fuse burned out in shipping? ?
It sounds like the seller did a VERY poor job of packing it, and he should have known better. Amplifiers are usually quite heavy, and a mere 1" of packing material all around, between it and the shipping box it came in was quite absurd on the sell...
We can finally email through Audiogon again.

Selling dispute. Please comment.
Can you contact the manufacturer and ask them if they can send you an original manual for the amp? If so, that should solve the problem. Unless it is a vintage or collectable, rare amp, I think they buyer is being VERY unreasonable, and just wants...
Reference 3A DeCapo " Blue Tak" question
I would not be surprised if you find that applying Blu-Tak to the bottoms will kill the energy and transient attack of the speakers. I was using some very heavy, solid stands under my de Capo's, and when trying to adhere them to the stands with Bl...
Subwoofer connection
Yes, straight from your amp's outputs is best. It helps to give you the best "blending" between the sound of your main speakers with the sub. You get the same sonic signature that your amp imparts to your main speakers that way. If you use RCA's f...
Reference 3A Episode vs MM deCapo i
Hi Rebbi; My last pair of De Capo's were made in 2010, and had the new tweeters, brass screws, internal wiring, cryo etc, but there was no mention of the "acoustic lens" you mentioned. I am not familiar with it, and will have to look into it.The ne...
Reference 3A Episode vs MM deCapo i
I have owned and enjoyed 3 different pairs of the de Capo i's over the years, my most recent pair being the newest 2010 versions of the de Capo's with all the latest upgrades. I purchased a new pair of Reference 3A Episodes for my system about 4 m...
2 Channel Audio Stores in Tampa/St Pete, FL
I agree with both of the above posts....Sweet Home in Clearwater gets a "thumbs-up" and Audio Visions in Tampa was not a positive experience on several occasions.
Speakers to pair with a Red Wine Audio Sig 15
I agree with Devilboy...with your musical preferences and room size, you would be better off seeking something with more power.
Speakers to pair with a Red Wine Audio Sig 15
I listened to the Sig. 15 on my Reference 3A Episodes and de Capo i's, as well as some Triangle Comete's on a fellow audiophile's system. Both of us have owned and enjoyed small SET amps, gain clones and other low output, battery powered T-amps.
Speakers to pair with a Red Wine Audio Sig 15
I recently tried the Red Wine Signature 15 amp on three different pairs of high efficiency, 8-ohm speakers, and two different systems after burning the amp in for 150-200 hours. I found the amp to sound quite "flat" and non-dynamic on all three sp...
