That bit in Sam Peckinpah's Pat Garret And Billy The Kid where Bob Dylan get's on his bike and starts singing Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head and then Coburn shoots him. That was fun......
Are You Happy?
I think onhwy61 question has been answered-some people have descended or ascended onto searching out a level of perfection that may make the likes of me wonder if they haven't totally lost perspective or maybe even more importantly any kind of enj...
NEW Musical Fidelity DAC
Sean,I believe you are totally correct on this. The UK mags are exactly the same and although I enjoy reading them I would never buy a product or even believe any hype surrounding any piece of equipment based on their views-certainly at least by so...
Sugden in US?
My local dealer does EAR though I've never heard it,it is a brand endorsed by the likes of Dave Gilmour(P.Floyd) however although he admires their original thinking on design I got the feeling he didn't consider their products amongst the best he ...

Since Rock includes everybody from classic songwriters as Brian Wilson,Dylan,Mitchell,Vega through heavier material such as Zeppelin,Metallica etc. into mutiple genre players such as The Waterboys(Folk,Blues,Country),Neil Young et al,as well as mo...
NEW Musical Fidelity DAC
I guess all I ever do is report what the UK mags say.The new MF DAC gets reviewed in the new Hifi News-their conclusion is that whilst good maybe it doesn't match the PT P-1A/P-3A combo.List price is £800 here in the UK.

My cables have been cooked trying to work out what some of the words mean on this thread and where all the hostility came from........
better gear, worse recordings
Interesting thread,I guess I'm with Kirk on his standpoint.Although others make interesting points CFB,Finberg and Bomarc amongst them.Being new to the audio game (maybe 5 years)but a big music fan for 21 years-I often find myself a bit baffled by...
