Pink Floyd FINALLY Releases Live At Pompeii
No idea what you are talking about.Live At Pompeii has been out on video for years, the DVD has no new extra original footage. Also what do you mean for Wish You Were? The album has been remastered three times in the 90's including the most recent ex...
ProAc Future Series: A "Dead Dog" or just Dead??
I discussed this range a while back with a dealer. He said part of the problem was that all of the range did not give the perceived value that Proac usually do mainly because of their lack of actual weight (i.e in kgs)and basically potential buyers...
Bel Canto DAC 2 or Ikemi?
Ignore my last post-I misread your audition.
Bel Canto DAC 2 or Ikemi?
Like Greenman I also chose the Ayre CX-7 over ther Ikemi-even though here in the UK the price of the Ayre is very expensive. My point is,if it helps you, is that I think the Ikemi is great with acoustic type material-with rock or more complicated m...
Gordon Lightfoot Tribute
Bob Dylan is a big fan also.I don't think a performing songwriter can get a bigger tribute than that.
Audio Alchemy DDE v.3.0
Good point Carlton I forgot that.Would the original poster come back and indicate how he got on.
Audio Alchemy DDE v.3.0
I've had both these units.I'm not sure I totally understand,if you have connected via the dti and you are getting music then it must just be a problem with the light-yes,no?If not check the following....Have you tried different digital connections...
SACD 2 channel vs Hybrid SACD
Chris all the CD layers on the Dylan reissues are remastered.Strange quirk with the Arcam/HDCD I would guess there is something on the sampler disc which causes the HDCD chip to think it is a HDCD-I doubt very much it is indeed a HDCD disc as well...
"simian" rock/pop songs?-a survey
I'll spoil this by saying go to ALLMUSIC.COM and type in monkey in songs search......

Album of the Week - Opinion/Samples
Regiolanthe-well I buy an awful lot of music-I'm usually digesting so much I hardly have time to post about it though I make an effort to give a review of the year. The new Bowie (Reality) seems good-not earth shattering possibly more concise than ...
Album of the Week - Opinion/Samples
Regiolanthe-Blue Nile are/were excellent-Paul Buchanan stays near me-I see him a lot-I read a while back (2/3 years ago?)that they had recorded a new album but problems with Warners meant it's tied up in red tape.Hats could do with a polish up on ...
Dylan - The Greatest Remasters Ever
It is a pity if Dylan doesn't write something serious soon. There's been a big change in his attitude to interviews since about 1998 and he seems much more honest and still has an amazing ability to analyse society and the world in general. His line...
Dylan - The Greatest Remasters Ever
Dekay my misunderstanding,I apologise for thinking you were being derogatory. As for the Christian music Dylan produced, well it's not all bad-Slow Train Coming is a decent album,Saved is a donkey, an album which did him a lot of harm,Shot Of Love w...
Dylan - The Greatest Remasters Ever
Dekay-there are several biographies which seem to be reasonably accurate especially about Dylan's early life-the real gaps come post '66.I would still highly recommend Robert Shelton's No Direction Home biography probably the best book on Dylan up...
