My endgame system I think In my room I have used only organic material (hemp) for acoustic treatement.
Speaker Recommendation Help Please. I strongly recommend Audio Kinesis speakers. They will outperform Klipsch speakers mentioned above and many others.
Looking for warm tube preamp (should pair well with Pass power amp), budget $6000 Both Ear Yoshino and Audio Note have distinctive warm sound and these two UK manufacturers are cherrished by french audiophiles. Their gear sounds much better than any McIntosh, Carry or AR I can think of. We also have here Jadis and some other hi...
EAR Acute Classic - has anyone heard or tried it Acute Classic has replaced my LampizatOr Big 7 DAC (balanced). It is VERY musical and magnificient CD player & DAC ! In comparaison, the Big7 has wider stage and is more precise, but musicality and analog signature are what I was looking for i...
Looking for a tube preamp with remote control. My first choice would be Atma Sphere MP-3. Exceptionnal tube preamp, made in USA. It replaced my Ear Yoshino 912 which is also one of the very best tube preamps available on the market today.
CD Player Recommendations… In that budget I would purchase Quad CD player
So damn hard deciding which tube preamp to buy! Fully loaded Atma Sphere MP-1 with all options is what you need. Ear Yoshino 912 would be my second choice. I've had it both in my system in direct comparaison.
The best tube poweramp. . What do you think about ? Atma Sphere M-60 will be a perfect match for your Magister MKII speakers and Audio Note CD. When properly matched with compatible speakers, OTL amplifiers are BY FAR the best tube amplifiers.
Magnepan, Best midrange? I have tried Magnepans many times and was never impressed with them. But this is because my first audiphile grade speaker was Quad ESL 57. So the level of my expectations was already on the very top of possible audiophile experience. It is well kn...
Tube Preamp - What to buy? Hello SPeter, I used several tube preamplifiers and have finally settled down with Atma Sphere brand, which is made in USA. I live in Paris. Here in Europe we have many higly regarded manufacturers specialized in tube gear like Jadis, Ear Yoshino,...
BEWARE OF FRAUD with this member I never use Paypal and always ask the guy to talk on webcam to conclude the deal. If the guy "does not have" Whatsapp, Skype, a smartphone... or "does not have time"... you know that you are dealing with a scammer.
First tube preamp recommendations (under $5k) Atma Sphere MP1 or MP3. These are world class tube preamplifiers, very versatile and easy to use. I've tested many european tube preamplifiers (I live in Paris) but finally I've settled down with Atma Sphere. No changes for me any more.
Best DAC? I have owned or tested in my system almost all DACs mentioned here: Audio GD, Orchid, Lampizator Big7, Bricasti, Trubadour. Most of them are fine DACs, very resolving, precise, musical and overall pleasing. However my personal preference goes to A...
Which amplifier should i buy One more vote for Atma Sphere MA-1. They are driving my Sound Lab A3 (which are much more harder to drive than your Magico A3) and I absolutely love them. I prefer Atma Sphere over EAR Yoshino, McIntosh, AR, Prima Luna and VTL, mentioned here.
Reccomend a good preamp for me. Atma Sphere preamplifiers (MP1 and MP3) are my favorite. After testing many other preamplifiers (and most recently in France very popular Ear Yoshino 912 and 868), Atma Sphere preamplifiers are still my favorite. |
