Movie/film suggestions.
@immathewj and @nonoise: I’m just ahead of you guys, being born in 1950. By 1968 (when I started college, and therefore had a student deferment) everyone knew the Vietnam war was already lost, and skeptical (at best) about Nixon’s claim of havi...
Experience with stacked subwoofers?
Oops. In my comment about the post above by @simonmoon regarding the GR Research/Rythmik Audio OB/Dipole Sub, I neglected to say that AudiogoN member jaytor includes pics of his stacks of the 2-woofer model of the sub in his virtual system. Fou...
Continuous Phase Adjustment in Subwoofers
The non-XLR Rythmik plate amps contain both line level (on RCA jacks) and high level (on binding posts) hook up connections, as well as a continuously-variable phase control. What such a phase control offers is speaker/sub integration above and...
The most musically ambitious album in the history of Pop music.....
  Apparently not.
New Life for Vinyl Me Please (VMP)?
@slaw: Thanks Steve, I'll look for it. I have quite a few VMP pressings, some of them titles appearing on vinyl for the first time---Eric.
Experience with stacked subwoofers?
@simonmoon: The GR Research/Rythmik Audio Open Baffle/Dipole Servo-Feedback Woofer is definitely the best sub I’ve ever heard. The one in your picture is not actually a stack, it is the 2-woofer version of the sub, also available in a 3-woofer ...
New Life for Vinyl Me Please (VMP)?
Yeah, I received an email from the new VMP duo at 3:38 AM today. They haven't yet revealed if they were part of the old team, or are taking over from the originals. They stated they are going through all past orders, and shipping accordingly. I...
Movie/film suggestions.
One movie I like a lot starred Damon: Hereafter, directed by Clint Eastwood. A great story.
Brian Wilson
"Their Hearts Were Full Of Spring" can also be found on their Live In London album, released in 1969. My copy is on Capitol Records, but pressed in Holland.
Continuous Phase Adjustment in Subwoofers
You're right, a continuously variable phase control does just what you said. All the "Standard size" Rythmik Audio plate amps include a variable phase control, 0 to 180 degrees (which provides zero to 16 milliseconds of delay).
Tune of the Day
"God Only Knows", in this video in which Rick Beato dissects the song from a technical point of view.   https://youtu.be/HrpxOva8rBQ?si=C6RgWjeX0uBwcvgM

Brian Wilson
Oops. The Manson song that Dennis bought from Charlie was actually originally entitled "Cease To Exist". "Hang On To Your Ego" was another BB song, eventually named "I Know There's An Answer", which is on Pet Sounds.
Brian Wilson
@mattmiller:   - It’s Brian, not Brion. - Charlie auditioned for producer/A & R man Terry Melcher, not Brian. - Brian didn’t swipe a song from Charlie. Dennis bought Charlie’s song "Hold On To Your Ego", changing some of the lyrics and ...
Another fun read. Enjoy
"It could hit frequencies as low as 8 Hz." The Eminent Technology TRW-17 Rotary Woofer goes down to 1 Hz.
