Schiit Freya+(Plus)
I just bought some Blue Jeans RCA to XLR cables and they are nice and really economical. I would be inclined to get fully balanced XLR's from them as well unless there is a better, reasonably priced alternative.

I’m strongly considering a Freya + to run my Calibre XD’s full range through the internal amps. What XLR cables are a good value to use with this pre?
Professional Turntable Set Up in Kentucky?
Let me know if you find anyone near Kentucky. I'm interested as well.Fyi, I have a 7.3 (do you still have yours?) and recently upgraded to an AT Art9. Really amazing sounding cart even if it's not a perfect match for my arm.

George that would also work very well. Thanks for the replies. Sounds like I can make it work. I’m going to have a tough choice to make. Initially, I am going to bi amp  Calibre XD's with my Rogue Cronus Magnum (which I love) and see how that work...

Help me choose a speaker match for my Line Magnetic 805ia tube amp under $10K
Yes, I meant 508ia as well.
RCA to XLR cables
Is it a major or minor loss of signal and/or sq vs xlr to xlr? One knowledgeable person told me other than a loss of 3db of gain compared to xlr to xlr, it should be fine and do the job powering the woofer.

Old thread but I have a question related to this. The Legacy Calibre XD can be bi-amped with the 500w internal Ice amp running the low end. I wonder how the 805 IA would perform and sound driving the mids and highs?
If you could buy any system, regardless of price, what would it be?
I’m thinking Legacy Valor with internal amps for bass and Air Tight 3211’s for amps along with an Air Tight pre and phono. DAC to be determined. Artisan Fidelity table as long as the performance matches the looks and price tag. Whatever high end c...

Love my Art 9. The Blue seems like a great choice too.
