Can I use 24 gauge speaker cable?
Mom always said you can do anything you want, until you get caught.I’m guessing that 24 guage will work just fine for you.  As long as some type of noise comes out of your speakers when connected, you should be golden!
Looking for a sub for revel f208
I like REL quite a bit.  SVS is good also.  From my experience though, RELs go deeper snd have more finesse, SVS has more impact / slam. You can get 2 used S3 SHO’s for $2500.I’ve owned a T9i, S3 SHO and currently use a little T5i.  I’ve owned quit...
New or Old
For that kind of $ you could do a more modern speaker, something that has good drivers and crossovers in it.  I’ve heard that the crossovers in the kefs are pricey if you have to replace the caps in there. But yeah Bro, $1500 will buy you quite a f...
I may need to join A'gon Anonymous (AA)
LoL, yeah, I’m guilty as well.   Always window shopping.  Seems like theres some good deals to be had right now.  Too bad I don’t have any extra $ right now but no biggie, anything I get from here is just icing on the cake anyways.

which speaker to buy
Tekton.  Eric makes his speakers to capture the dynamics of a live performance.  Theres a video on you tube where he explains how he’d listen to live performances and then try to build his speakers to reproduce that style of dynamics.  Most, if no...

Did not know that LSA’s came from china.  I thought they were from here for some readon.  Interesting...
Classic Integrated Question: Krell or Classe?
Im a Classe fan!  I had a CA-150 and CA-200.  Great amps.  The Ayre Ax-7e was one I was strongly considering lately but someone contacted me and offered me a Belles Aria for a fair price in the color I wanted, silver, so I went for it.  The pairin...
Poor Fritz
I haven’t tried the LSA’s but they look nice as well.  I agree that there are many nice speakers out there, especially when you start looking at used as an option.
I knew room treatments were in my future.
I think its part of ebm’s humorZ. He seems to suggest a ridiculously expensive option and then to act asap.  LoL, kinda funny really
Home theater & music
I’d look at Dynaudio.  They should pair well with the emotiva and bryston.
Buchardt A500, KEF LS50 Wireless, etc. What are your top 3 downsides?
Something else that I really liked about the Dynaudio Xeo’s are that the hub will connect to multiple pairs so you could have 3 or 4 different pairs of xeo’s throughout the house all streaming the same music with no latency issues.  I’d like to se...
Buchardt A500, KEF LS50 Wireless, etc. What are your top 3 downsides?
Kef LS50W’s are finnicky.  I think the electronics have a 50/50 shot of being dead in 10 years.  The app for the ls50’s is awful as is the remote.Dynaudio felt much better as far as remote control functions, and thr electronics never gave me any i...
Flare Audio
Lame.  I bought them, they suck.  Save your $ or buy your girl some flowers. The only thing they were halfway good at was providing ear protection while out in the world.  One of them kept falling out of my ear and they’re confusing to place.Overal...
Help me decide my next amp
Out of those, personally I’d go with the primare.  I came close to buying an I30 but went with a belles Aria instead.
