Parasound A23+ vs. Emotiva XPA-DR2
I’ve owned Paradigm Speakers (both the Studio and Signature line), Parasound amps (A21 and A51), and Emotiva amps (XPA2, XPA3).  I had listener’s fatigue with Emotiva and Paradigm.  Not so, with Parasound.
McIntosh MX121 vs. MX119 for 2-channel
The MX121 is really a Marantz AV7005, while the MX19 is true Mcintosh gear. That’s why.
PS Audio PWD II vs. NAD M51
I have both. They both sound great and would be happy with either one, but if I had to choose keeping one, I prefer the PS Audio DACII over the NADM51. The DACII has a bit more air, warmth and musicality.
Classe Sigma Mono's
I used to own the Sigma AMP2 but sold them to free up funds for bigger purchase.  I thoroughly enjoyed them during my time and wouldn't mind owning them some day again, specially due to it's size and weight.  Even though they are class D amp, they...
Paradigm and Revel
I've been a Paradigm fan since 1998 when they came out with the Studio 100s.  By the way, I still have them looking for a local sale. I now have a set of Paradigm Signature S6v3 and Studios 20v5 in a 5.1 setup, and revel F208 in a 2.0 setup.  I co...
Audioquest colorado sound to bright
I have both AQ Columbia and Colorado XLR cables in two separate systems.  They're both great cables.  The Colorado sound more forward and busier, but slightly more accurate with wider soundstage than the Columbia which are more relaxed and laid ba...
Revel F208 vs. Paradigm 75F: Auditioning
The Revel F208 is $5,000 MSRP. You may have been thinking of the F206 which is $3,500. I have the F208 hooked up to a Pass Labs XA30.5 (30 watt Class A amp) and don't feel they are under-powered. I actually like how they sound and very happy with ...
Pass XA 30.5 with Revel F 208 ?
I have this exact setup in my bedroom (19L x 18W x 10H), F208 with XA30.5. I have no problem playing music loud. The combination makes glorious music. Love the pair.
polk rtia9 vs paradigm studio 100
For 2-ch music listening, I would choose the Paradigm speakers over the Polk.
Low output on my new marantz pm-15s2
I own the pm11s1 and also had owned the pm15s1. It's perfectly normal with these units. At -70, you should hear faintly, at -60, you should be able to hear the music perceptibly, at low volume.
