Acoustic Signature speed change from 33 to 45
Absolutely, speed control is vital. I measure my Triple X occasionally and it is rock solid!
Acoustic Signature speed change from 33 to 45
I have the Triple X and hold the button down as oldhvymec states I do not have to power down. Yes the directions aren’t the greatest but at least the directions are in English, lol. I have to say I love mine. The “art of engineering” :-)
Herron Audio VTPH-2A - Modwright PH 9.0X - Icon audio ps1 mkii
I contacted Keith from Herron and he is no longer making the VTPH-2A. Scarcity of parts and he's gearing for retirement at 71. He said he's still producing a run of the VTSP/3A. Great man, I wish him well. So that strikes that one off the list. On...
Tekton Lore VS NHT 2.5i
@jimijack 2.5’s we’re a nice speaker for their time but I think you’re missing a lot of the music. Many people like the Tektons I wound up going with the Spatial M3 Sapphires. Clayton is now making a smaller more affordable line as well. M4’s an...
What to do? I want a new amplifier to make my Dynaudio Contours to "sing"
@tartara66  Dynaudio USA distributes the Octave line. Not sure where you’re located but I used  safeandsound in Chicopee MA. They have and sell demos at a reasonable price. The V40se is a great pairing. Either Aaron or Mike will surely guide you ...

It's above your budget but maybe save for an Octave. I heard the line with both the Contours and Confidence and it's a stunning combination.
Best Phono You've Heard Under $2200
Some great choices here. I'm thinking about the Modwright PH9.0x. Does anyone have any experience with this one in relation to the others mentioned? I do own one of Dan's modded SACD players and love it.
Best Phono You've Heard Under $2200
I have an SPL Phonos that I like but I'm interested in the ones mentioned above.I wonder how much better it can get going into my Octave V70 Class A?
Tube integrated amp recommendations
Agree with tomic601 about doing your research  I own an Octave and it is stellar
One big reason why brick and mortar high end audio dealers struggle.
I believe customer service is the best business model. We have a few of those stores here in New England that only offer high end gear and that's it. Make an appointment! That's okay as long as there's no pressure sales. There is a store in Chicop...
A Denon compact system with Mission speakers, from the past, and my past.

RME-ADI-2 owners, do you use all the features?
@blkwrxwgn I love this DAC! I use the balanced outputs and replaced the PS with a Teddy Pardo. These made definite sonic improvements for me. I use the slow filter which yields a warmer sound. I have attempted the DSP and Tone and found just to le...
For SACD fans only
Ever think about a mod for it. I know Daniel Wright from Modwright did have one for the Oppo. Not sure if he still does. He modded my Pioneer LX500 and it is stunning!
Koetsu Rosewood Vs Rosewood Signature Vs HANA UMAMI RED advice please
@astolfor Haha I am not a Hana dealer but I am German/Polish. I find many things to like about German electronics, I own an Octave amp, RME Dac and the Triple X. My speakers though are US made Spatial M3 Sapphires which I absolutely love love! Are...
