Ripping CD's to hard drive
I’ve used JRiver to easily rip thousands of CD’s flawlessly to FLAC with excellent metadata results. I’ve tried Exact Audio Copy but it didn’t get the metadata correct, but maybe I didn’t have the settings correct because EAC wasn't very intuitive...

Tidal now offers HiFi at $10/month for HiFi!
Right. You can always upgrade to 9216 kbps, but for my needs 1411 is good enough.   Regarding spotify, for those who haven't read this older article in Variety dot com, they have been dragging their heels for a long time. “Spotify Dismisses Am...

Careful if buying Purist Audio Neptune fluid cables.
A faint heart ne’er won fair maiden. 💃Sorry but IMO no wire is worth $2k+.Even if said maiden's "insides were lined with gold".To quote John Prine's "Pretty Good"
Careful if buying Purist Audio Neptune fluid cables.
The solution (no pun intended) is to make the fluid more viscous. The solution is to not by cables with fluid in them. Period. IMO.
Careful if buying Purist Audio Neptune fluid cables.
I also had some (lower level) Purist cables that leaked fluid as well. And after sending them back to Jim to fix twice, and still never held fluid, I said never again.
Tekton Impact Monitors
I just measured my LS50’s including the IsoAcoustic stands and they are 20.5"h x 8"w x 9.5"d, with the concentric tweeters level with my ears. So, the audio sickness in me says, Hey, they aren’t much bigger than what I have now ;-) I also have a p...
Tekton Impact Monitors
I have considered upgrading my KEF LS50's, however they are part of a large desktop system, (4' x 6'), and the Tekton monitors may be to large for a desktop system. Does anyone have any experience with both the LS50's and the Impact Monitor?
