I need bass
Hey Davey,I’m glad you posted this as I have been very curious about the Zu sound. In speaking with Sean over at Zu and what I’ve read, I would think rock and blues would be right up their alley. What is your budget? It looks to be around $1500 - ...

April Fools!!!!
Speaker Setup.....
This hardly sounds like a scientific or even an efficent method for speaker placement. It's essentially move your speakers around in 1/16" increments until they sound right?

@avanti1960 Thanks. Yes, Zero Fidelity and the Audiophilliac were hyping these speaks. I may just pop on over to BestBuy and have a listen though. BTW, what does stereophile class C mean?

A little Patience sometimes pays off! (Kef LS50 content)
@singhania59 I am currently using Belden 5T00UP 10 AWG Speaker Cable, terminated with locking banana plugs from Blue Jeans cabling. Cost me $70 and I couldn't be happier. Now it's time to sell the ridiculous $1000 AQ GO-4 cables a dealer sold me. ...
Looking for suggestions on best small footprint speaker under $4K
You may want to put the Kef R7 on your list of speakers to audition. They retail for $3800.
What are the best speakers you have ever owned and why?
The best speakers I have heard are my friend's TLS-1's (based on the original Ohm F) made by Dale Harder of HHR in Ohio. I haven't heard anything that sounds that realistic and natural.Vandersteen 7's would also be up there. I have owned Vanderste...
Tekton Double Impacts vs the competition....
@tommypenngotti just curious how the Tekton speakers are treating you? Still digging them? I auditioned the Electrons, but ultimately decided they weren't for me.

Speakers for a small room
While I haven't heard that many speakers above the $4k mark, I would agree with tomic that the Treo CT is a very fine speaker. They occasionally come up on the used market for around $5,500. Good luck!
