How much SACD do I need?
blu-ray discs are not backwards compatible, forget it!if a customer buys Neil Young disc, and then he or she will find out that it can't be played in a car for example the disc will be returned to the store! 
Anyone tried the K2HD mastering CDs?
"yes,they are good but not as good as SACD."24bit/96kHz FLAC downloads and SACDs are of course better sounding than k2HD (16bit/44,1kHz)...I'm waiting for true HD "K2HD" discs (or downloads) from jvc!

great sounding player, well built, has native DSD support... I recommend at least you gave it a listen and judge for yourself.As to RBCD part I recommend turning off the legato function, the player sounds best without legato and with pure audio fu...

helloI agree that 16bit/44,1kHz (old rbcd) is not enough for music (it was never enough), and especially today when storage media (hard drives, SACD discs, DVD discs) allow for recording music in full resolution (DSD or PCM 24/96) hi-rez is a must...
