Here's ONE reason...Gregg Allman  "Laid Back"  (APO)I can guarantee you'll not hear this lp in better form than on this (re-issue)!
ELO and the search for SQ
you're never going to be able to hear what that TT can retrieve from your lps until you provide it's proper placement and associated gear, IE: acoustic treatments, speaker placement.......
ELO and the search for SQ
I recall reading a previous post of yours regarding acoustic treatments. You posted at that time you have your system set up in a corner of your room. I'd suggest you start to examine this sort of system placement before any kind of cd vs.lp war.G...

Regarding Mat's response...There is the decision that had to be made at VPI... (Do we hire a PR person to address any issues our (loyal) customer base has? Should this PR person also address the failures in our bringing products to our customers a...

bifwynne, I own a Classic3 Sig SE, don't know if yours is like mine in that I had to modify the bottom motor access cover to provide a (flat) surface for my aftermarket feet?

Lyra Atlas experiences
I've read this thread with great enthusiasm. Although I don't own an Atlas, probably never will, I find the comments here instructive for anyone. I own an original Foz. I've since read on the Analog Planet, that the current Fozgometers are self-ca...
