WOW, all the way to analog! Very excited for you, bwhite. Let us know how the Supra phono sounds in comparison, and then again when the Teres is introduced. BTW, that friend of yours who bought the CJ amps (and I think the Oracle later too) but wa...
Why is there so much Rowland gear for sale?
On Rowland: if you look at many "hi end" markets, not just audio, you can see this initial erosion in consumer confidence and buying power. For instance, last month wine auctions at ChristiesNY were off considerably on Bordeaux even though bottles...
Why is there so much Rowland gear for sale?
Ohn: "distribution" conotes distribut-ing, which is an action. All human actions originate from the mind. Similarly, a political hierarchy, in our case, democratic-capitalism, is an abstraction that hides its deeper, truer meaning. To illustrate, ...

4yanx, I knew it was tongue in cheek from you. I thought it was funny, actually. I need to use smiley faces more I think. Also, still stirring, can't help myself. My apologies for using you as a foil, but if I admitted the foil part then we couldn...
Why is there so much Rowland gear for sale?
Oh, I know, 4yanjx, just stirring the pot-o-bit, don't you know; someone told me once it was the essence of democracy. (Things ahave been a bit calm around audiogon lately). Not squeezing me, though, but sure is some people down the road (look out...

Thanks for the help Seth. I went on past threads mentioning the Lectron and saw your name and if I didn't have any luck, I'd thought about contacting you, because you seemed to know and love the amp.Yea, the guy I saw selling it seemed to have don...
Lectron JH-30 help
Edle, thank you for your directions - and I appreciate them given that I've been buying and selling equipment for twenty-five years - but I would also like to contact the seller to discuss the extensive mods he did on the unit, black gates, etc. -...

What kind of power wakes up electrostatic speakers
Travis, sorry so long to get back; forgot about this thread actually. Glad you are happy. Hey, lots of guys with Soundlabs seem to like the new Parasounds. Maybe you might like those too on the 3.6's? Just an idea down the road if you get the itch...

Why vinyl?
Hi William!Yes, I can see that, like Elmucy, that if ticks and pops just happened to drive you crazy that going analog would not be for you. I would say that, yes, I don't like them either, but I've also found that as my analog rig has gotten bett...
