Choice between Wilson Audio Alexx or the Alexia V Hello skinny, Thank you for your input. I believe the larger sound stage of the Alexx is something that is very appealing to the listener. While the Alexia V has newer technology it appears that the two midrange drivers in the Alexx as well as th...

Sound of the DCS Bartok vs the DCS Rossini Player Hello, I have not received any responses to my original post although I did purchase the Rossini and am very pleased with it. Maybe a 15 to 20 percent enhancement to the sound. it does show me how good the Bartok is for the money. Andy

Turntable - The Next Step I purchased the Clearaudio Performance DC turntable with a Universal tonearm and am extremely pleased with the outcome.
Turntable - The Next Step I was quite shocked when I threw caution to the wind and upgraded my turntable set up from the Rega P3 to a Clearaudio set up. The sound stage and overall improvement in the clarity of high and low frequencies was outstanding. Good luck.
I need help regarding tube phono preamplifiers I would like to thank all of the forum members who responded to my posting. I appreciate the feedback and will do some additional research. Hopefully I will be able to demo some products prior to making the final choice. Best regards to everyone.
To extend Ethernet to remote location, are Powerline extenders or Mesh systems better? I use a Netgear Powerline 2000 adapter to connect my DCS Dac and find it to be quite good. No problems over the last year and a half.
DAC - DCS Bartok or the new Berkeley Alpha DAC 3 I currently utilize a DCS Bartok in my system which does pair with a Mac Mc302 and C48 Preamp. I was blown away with the soundstage of the Bartok. Coming from a Bluesound Node2i I was able to hear the comparison. Two completely different leagues. ...
Record clamp Thank you everyone for your response. My first concern is that the record clamp will not do any damage to the turntable and hopefully add to the SQ. I am surprised to hear that everyone seems to feel the P3 is greatly restricting the phono cartrid... |
