Which song you would love to wake up to? James Brown, "Sex Machine". Mostly because they sing "get up, get on up" over and over again
Forgotten heavy bands from late 60's to early 70's I always thought Witchfinder General was pretty cool. They sounded a lot like Sabbath
Best songs played by non-author artists... Roxy:I would have to say that the album version of Beck's couldn't touch how he played it live. He did it for (If I remember correctly) the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and last time I saw him live. I guess my enjoyment of the album cut was colored ...
Best Live Album Ever... Jeff Buckley Live at Sin-e is, in my opinion, the best live album ever. There are many other great ones, Counting Crows live at Town Hall, and Phish Hampton Comes Alive- but Buckley was probably the greatest live performer I've ever listened to.

Dac magic plus Mine only gets kind of warm after many hours of playing, but never hot enough that I'd be concerned about needing a fan or putting it on top of something else.

Recommend some Blues music to a newbie Danny Gatton doesn't get the credit he deserves, but I think he is great despite never knowing anyone else who listens to him. He only had a few albums before he killed himself, but they are all great.

Cheap tweaks...What would YOU reccomend? I actually spent yesterday filling up the inside of my cheap turntable with acoustic caulking to try and deaden it. I've only listened for about 2 hours, but it seems to be doing the trick. I'm probably going to go buy another thing of caulk to fi...
Who R U? I'm 20 years old and an ASU sophomore studying economics. I have been involved in music my whole life. My father is a home theater maniac (I was in an audio magazine at 7 watching Austin Powers in our theater), one of my uncles is a recording engi... |
