Why Don't More People Love Audio?
This last bunch of “July” posts are wonderful, love the comments by Alpha_gt and those in response to his thoughts. Also agree about the Piano, the large LP collection and Hi-Fi generation. It’s nice to reflect on these ideas without regard to spec...
Computer Upgrade
I’ve researched this a lot and I love JRiver software. If that does not appeal to you then advice from here on may not be accurate for your need. With JRiver you can run Mac, Windows or Linux and get the same sound, as long as the computer is a mod...
Voltage Conversion-Ayre Amplifiers.
I would ask seller if possible for you to pay him to have this converted by Ayre before shipping to you. Then it would be perfect.
Any Love for the Pioneer PLX-1000 Yet?
Personally I'm glad to hear such a positive report. This could bring music fans over to analog and with that, support for pressing more LPs.No reason a big company like Pioneer could not build a capable direct drive table. Maybe not best in the wo...

StringreenAP....what was really interesting to me is that although the power cord is used for the amp which only is used for the low (sub) section of the speaker, I can hear a clarity, agility, ... and total improvement all the way up the frequenc...
JL Audio F110 Loud pop when pc unplugged ?
I had a pair of F212 in my system for a couple of years and never had any popping issues. I can’t remember if I unplugged the AC cord other than trying various cables to test performance. Not to be rude, but why do you unplug the H110? It has a sta...

Not surprised that made an improvement. Vandersteen is a great product and typically resolves whatever mods go into the system.

I assume you pointed to the drive that the files are ripped to? Do you have all the import boxes marked as to type of files to import?Lots of good info at ComputerAudiophile about this. I’m no expert but there are people at that site that are.
