Cabledyne - cable bargain of the century
Yes Sonic Genius, that is what I am saying. But this is only in my system and only as a wall to distributor cord.I have 2 more coming for a direct head to head against the Brahma and Vishu on components.
High Fidelity Cables CT-1designed by Rick Schultz
These interconnect cables are truly off the charts. An astounding clarity and detail but yet non fatiguing. The magnetic conduction technology of this new cable line really does lift the cliche 'veils' from music by reducing distortion. For the fir...
Are Dusson amplifiers still available in the US?
I has the Dussun T6 100 watt integrated. I thought it was a good amp for it's price range. It was not a giant killer that competed with amplifiers in the 1-2k range.
Sanders Sound preamp vs. Innersound?
Jtwrace, the same question can be asked of any small volume electronics manufacturer in high end audio. If you are concerned about having a reliable long term warranty and don't mind the sound of harsh PA amplifiers, just buy a Bryston.
Sanders Sound preamp vs. Innersound?
So Sanders newish Magtech amplifier is a Coda design but using his own linear voltage regulator power supply?
Glass v.s. Plastic Toslink
Another vote for Silflex glass optical cables.
DAC/PRE
Soon to be released Femto DAC by Calyx Audio. It has jitter so low that it is only measured in 'femto seconds'.It also has a high quality analog volume control, not a digital volume like many other dac's.
Has anyone networked their Cambridge 751-bd
I have streamed both music and movies across a network using ethernet cable connected from the 751 to my modem/router.I stopped doing this and went back to using USB because at the time this player did not support playback of MKV or FLAC over the ...
Noise eater
Mr Tennis I only have experience with that product, I have purchased no others from Alan. It just seems to treat everything plugged into the same power strip. Even video is better on my TV.I also have a Nordost Qv2. It seems to do something on a t...
World's BEST ac outlets.......Maestro outlets
There is one outlet that the Maestro should be compared to. The new Furutech GTX pure copper outlet. My past experiences with using pure copper AC/IEC connectors for power cables have been a noticable jump in naturalness. You soon realise all gold/...
Noise eater
The Noise Eater looks like an interesting product. Similar in physical design to the Nordost/Quantum Qv2, I wonder it it works on similar technical principles?Like Clio09, I also also have an Alan Mayer parallel filter called the Scorpion, I could...
Question About NORDOST cables
Nordost claim you get better performance by using single wiring and THEIR jumpers and cables.Sure, you may be hearing a loss of information if you use the crappy brass jumpers found on every speaker. Also the actual cable geometry has a lot to do ...
Has anyone used Supra AC connectors ???
I found Furutech bulk AC cable with wattgate connectors, and Signal Cable entry level, to be better than the Supra Lorad 2.5 on my Source, DAC and amplifier. But the Supra was wired with its stock el cheapo connectors. I am open to the possiblity t...
Raidho C1.1
Since the Intuitive Designs website is useless and 5 years out of date, would you tell us a bit about these Gammas? The Summit speaker was highly regarded in those few reviews.
Has anyone used Supra AC connectors ???
I have 2 Supra 2.5 power cables that have the Supra connectors. They are no better than standard entry level connectors, avoid them. The IEC sits a bit loose on every socket I have plugged them into. The Supra cable is good for your computer. I rea...
