What's similar to a Theta Digital Miles?
The Granite Audio CDP with tube outputs has some similarites to the Miles. I used to own a Miles. What they have in common is that the Granite CDP, like the Miles, can go directly to your amp without the use of a pre amp. I have used this feature t...
Are any of these made in vinyl?
I beleive that you are out of luck on all three.

meadowlark nighthawk/ vandersteen 3a sig
For what it's worth, I have Vandy 3A sigs. and was also frustrated that I wasn't getting the quality of bass that I heard when I paid a visit to Richard Hardesty. Thinking that the difference was the 2wq's that he used I bought a pair. Helped a li...

Atagi,What are the chances that what you don't like about the bass in your system has a lot more to do with the room than it does the speakers?
Phono preamp question
Newbee, I found your response very helpful. I am using a Hoveland pre amp with their built in MC phono stage. I don't want low level noise, especially when I have none now. So, will quit fretting over turning the volume up so high.
cartridge allignment/test record
Speaking of Wally, I have been trying to get a hold of him for weeks. He usually is either right by the phone or returns calls very promptly. I have left 4 messages that he hasn't returned. Anybody know if he is o'k?
Some blues suggestions
I second Doug Macleod but then, I'm prejudice since he is my neighbor. Since you like Keb Mo you also may like Mississippi John Hurt. He has that same laid back style, you can really hear his influence on Taj Mahall.
Vinyl or wait for the new stuff??
I'd wait for the new stuff. That way you won't have to wade through tens of thousands of analog titles trying to decide what to buy for music. You simply purchase the few titles offered in the new format, everybody needs another copy of Kinda Blue...
Wilson WP 7, ATC SCM150ASL, or Meadowlark BH-2
I did extensive auditioning of the Wilson 7s and the Medowlark Blue Heron-2s . Unfortunately they were not in similar setups. The Wilsons were set up with a Hovland pre and amps and the Medowlarks were set up with first Cary gear then Accuphase. I...
Best Redbood CD Player Used/New under $7K
If you have a Audio Research dealer near you, take a listen to their CD 3MKll.
NOn Audiophile Review of the Teres 160
Congradulations on your new table. I feel the same way you do, everything else in my system may change but, the Teres will remain its center.
Theta CBll vs. Meridian 861.4
I had a CB from the first year that it came out and went through all the upgrades including the CBII with extreme DACs in the front 3 channels and the other 5 channels Superior DACs. The Theta dealer I speant a lot of time with is also a Meridian ...
LP storage? What do you use?
The problem with all the storage systems mentioned is it is so hard to read the album spines. I used to keep my albums in 4 Ikea bookcased, 7'x4', often forgot I had certain albums.I finally copied the type of bins you find in music stores. This w...
