New cartridge for MMF 5
Hello Fra77, my question would be do you intend to upgrade the table or phono in the future. If so I would save most of your money for that upgrade and get an older MM/MI. There are some great $100 to $250 options available. Also I think I remembe...

Synthfreak, Why did you not try to help if you are so knowledgeable on the subject? Why would you just wait to ridicule others answers who are at least trying to help others? Maybe it is a stupid answer on my part but that is how we learn new thing...
Opinion on Target CD's
Sorry Synthfreek, It seemed that both you and Rrog did not understand what Mike was asking from your replies. I will admit my ignorance on the subject. I was just trying to help.
Opinion on Target CD's
According to a EBay listing Target CD's were CD's from West Germany and Japan made for US audience before the US factories were up and in production. They seem to have had a "target " on them.Sorry Mike, I cannot answer your original Questions.

Desalvo55, Why not go with a used Butler 2250 until you get your speakers built, then decide your next move.

guitar solos where less is more
Funny that some thought of Stevie Ray. My first thought was Jimmie Vaughn. Another that comes to mind is the Bluebird's Buddy Flett , more slide but still economical.

Who needs a MM cartridge type when we have MC?
Hello all, I know we have discussed the Acutex cartridges to death but wanted to say that the LPM 312 is very good. I sometimes get caught up in "It's not as good as the 315/320" and forget what it is good at. If it did not have to stand in the sh...
