Has anyone tried Full Music 12ax7's? I got mine from Hong Kong. Wi Wi Trading Company. www.wiwitubes.com His card says: We specialize in all kind of vintage tubes, NOS tubes and current tubes.
Has anyone tried Full Music 12ax7's? I've had the Full Music 12ax7's in my Jolida JD100 CDP for a few days now and have to say I'm very impressed. I had thought the tubes I had in there were sounding a bit bright, but I wasn't sure if it was the tubes (Svetlana) or the Coincident CST...
First Annual " Whaddya Get? for Xmas " My mother in law gave all five of her children and their spouses a Caribbean cruise. Totally surprised, we were!
Has anyone tried Full Music 12ax7's? You have made me curious. Just purchased a set and am waiting for their arrival.
cd player + preamp = too much gain Go to CIaudio.com and check out the VPC-3. I have the same problem and this takes care of it with no sonic degradation. You'll need another set of interconnects to put it between your CDP and preamp.
Amp stands for Pass Labs I use a Salmander under my X250. As Tvad said, doesn't make a difference sonically.
Quietest Refrigator ? Get one of those antique oak ones where you have to replace the ice daily. You won't even hear the ice melting!
How do you judge your system's neutrality? I won't call my system neutral. I'll say it's somewhere in the middle of the road. Being that the shape of my ears are different than yours, and that they don't protrude from my noggin much, you may find my system bright, since I need a little mor...
Are there any albums you consider perfect? I remember playing my older brothers 8-track copy of "Aqualung" by Jethro Tull over and over when it first came out. I don't know about it being perfect, but it doesn't feel right if I don't play the whole lp. Same goes for Led Zep II.
OT Congratulations NY Yankees Lost interest in baseball way back when they went on strike. I don't care much for football either, now that I think about it. But congratulations are in order.
Pass Labs X250 meter failure Thanks for your responses. The meter really doesn't have to be repaired. It didn't move much anyways. It's just that I know it's not working, and every once in a while I think about it. Kind of like getting a small scratch on your new car, you kno...
How organized are you with your music Not organized at all. The artists are grouped, but that's about it. I find that when I'm looking for a certain one, sometimes I have to go throught them all, maybe twice, but during the search I'll run across something I haven't listened to in a l...
You know you're an audiophile if-- When you hear things like "lets set the record straight", "off the record", "he may have set a new record", you envision those round vinyl thingies...
Have you turned your loved ones into audiophiles I believe everyone thinks I'm touched for spending what I have on the system. Why spend all of that money on a Porsche when you can drive a Fiat 500, right?
Amplifier input tech question I had a set of Rothwell attenuators, and one broke from the weight of the interconnect. Support your cables, or maybe try a passive volume control, like I did. You'll need another set of interconnects to connect the pvc between components.. |
