Spatial Audio Hologram M4 Turbo S Speakers - A Review
What are the room limitations for the m4’s? My room isn’t big but opens on one side to over 1000 sq ft living space. My current speakers are about 7’ apart and 9’ from my listening position. They’re about 2’ off the wall. The total room is about 1...

Spatials are certainly a speaker I’m interested in but I thought they needed more room and space. I also think my wife will veto the looks. I think they have a modern 80s aesthetic that I like but she thinks they look weird. I think that spatials ...

I'm still trying to stick to a $3000 budget, but I know that even if I get the Salk Song3's, after any mods to the finish and shipping, I'll be closer to $4k, and even more if I go to the Song3-A. Money isn't so much the issue as value and the dim...

I think I’m going to demo the ProAc DT8, Spendor A6 and D7 and possibly some other models from Focal this weekend....

I am interested in Tekton, but not for this room. I already know my wife enough that with 1 look she would nix those in our living room. She is supportive of me having speakers, but they have to look good, and the Tektons I know won't pass. Howeve...

All good options. I would definitely consider the Elacs, but doesn't look like they're very efficient, and I would want a floor stander. I had the B5's, B6;s and UniFi bookshelves before and liked them all, especially for the cost. I considered Zu...

@bubba12, did your song3’s come with the metal or bamboo midrange driver? What did you have prior? The Salks are very high on my list. The hawks do do sound great and fit the space perfectly. I just really want to go to a 3-way and hopefully get m...

Wow, that’s quite a list. Philharmonic slims were originally my goal but when Salk started producing the Song3 the slims went out of production. I’ll have to check out Revel. I’ve never heard them but people swear by them.
Is it possible to buy a decent tube amplifier in the $2000-3000 range?
I also recommend Primaluna. You can frequently find used product online. I would look for the dialogue series over prologue. I think echo audio in Portland had a great deal on some mono blocks. You could buy one and use in stereo or buy both. They...
Parasound vs Primaluna vs Alternatives
I recently acquired a PrimaLuna Dialogue 1. Had been using a Peachtree Nova 220se which i love and still have. That being said there's things the PL can do that the PT can't. I've tried KT120 and KT88 tubes, plus the stock EL34s. So far I prefer t...
Good looking Towers for < $2000?
You're Nuprime will drive the songbirds and probably sound great. The Hawks aren't that efficient either and I'm using a Peachtree Nova 220. They sound great, detailed, dynamic, maybe even too much bass, but that could be the room too. Your Nuprim...
Good looking Towers for < $2000?
I was in the same predicament lately; looking for small, attractive floorstanders for the living room. A local Hi-Fi shop had a used pair of Totem Hawks for sale for only $1200. Excellent condition, nice cherry finish, and I love small size floors...
