A suggestion for an often asked question: Europas
Yes, I agree Warren. I Changed out my C370 to a Manley Stingray. This amp delivers the insight and rich texture that the Nad cannot bring to the Europas. Of course, it would only be fair to point out the considerable price difference. Scott.
Recommendation for inexpensive integrated
xandr, I owned the Nad C370 amp and I have recently upgraded to the Manly Stingray. I am now rolling NOS tubes as Rarl mentioned (good post Rarl). The Nad has power but lacks the sophistication that drives most audiophiles to keep up the search. ...
Good monitors used under $1000?
I really like the way the four post Sound Anchors look with the Europas. To my eye the four posts match the lines of the speaker much better than the Osiris twin cylinders. They sound good too!

Winegasman, Thanks for posting. Yeah, I'm go'in back for more too!
GMA Callisto feedback Green Mountain Audio
Damn it, I may have to upgrade! I agree that the Europa gets better and better as you go along. I have had them for a year and a half now (how many hours?) and I find day to day that I didn't hear that, or this is smoother etc. I have owned Maggie...

Leahy, Yes please let us know. I have the Europa and have heard from one other new owner only so far. Oh and the Europas did take 200 hrs or so to sound best. Thanks, Scott
Tube rolling advice-Manley Stingray-Help?
Thanks all for much helpful advice. I think the only way to tell what sounds right to these ears is to get some tubes and get started rolling. I think I will start with the Telefunkens if I can find them. Thanks, Scott
Tube rolling advice-Manley Stingray-Help?
Thorman, Yes, thanks Amperex has also been mentioned for the Stingray. I don't think I want lean here so that's good info. Still wondering about the Mullards especially for the pre (12at7's) upgrade. They are a tad pricey to pop for 8 of the EL84'...
Tube rolling advice-Manley Stingray-Help?
Elevick, Can you tell me what characteristics the Mullards have that make them your favorite? I understand the Telefunken tubes (12at7's) are extremely "clear" sounding. As a newbie to tubes, that sounds good to me. Thanks, Scott
The New GMA Callisto is one good looking speaker..
Yeah, that would figure. GMA lags behind on their website and new introducitons etc.On the other hand, I am listneing to my Europs now and I have been waiting for weeks for a review of the new Calistos. What does that say?
Jolida 502b, Manley Stingray & VTL- I85 compare ?
Saki, I can't compare these three, but I have the Manley Stingray here and I can assure you it rocks. I don't listen to too much classic rock anymore but I got out the Who "Who's Next" the other night and the 'Ray put it out there in fine style. M...
Hardwoodfloors and Spikes
I'll second the spikes (or cones) and coasters from Sound Anchor. A great side benefit of the coasters is that they are a felt like material on the bottom and I can move my Europas and Sound Anchors easily on the wood flors to try different speake...
GMA Europa discontinued?
What's going on at GMA? I would really like to Know.
GMA Europa discontinued?
Does that make the Europa an "instant classic"?
Cayin TA-30 thoughts...
Jdcrox, Thanks for the info. our rooms and musical tastes coincide. It appears the Cayin may be something to think about. The price is certainly right. Scott
